Great variety of Indian snacks, all purely vegetarian and good quality. We had Samosa, puff, cheese pizza and carrot cup cakes. All were tasty and well made. However, we ordered Swami Narayana Khichadi and it was stale and smelled when we opened the box just after 15 min of buying. I got scared as I took it for my kid. Thankfully I could smell it instantly. The best part is, you get honey-mustard sauce, Italian dressing and thousand island spread— ALL WITHOUT EGG, that’s awesome. We also purchased pickle and other dry snacks.
Very disappointed! This is the photo of puff that Shayona is selling now, 2 in 4 dollars! Last year the size was almost double and price was 2 in 3 dollars. I forgot to take side view photo but the puff was extremely thin. A normal person can eat 5 of these without even feeling full! I understand due to Covid and gas prices, now all the businesses got an excuse to increase the price and I am fine with that but this is ridiculous. I will not prefer Shayona anymore unless I have no other option.
Good veg india foos options. Special Gujarati food options here.
Perfect place to find authentic gujarati sweets. Also some of the snacks like lilva kachori, khandavi were really good. I was a big fan of their puff as well, but now they are making them really small in size . Overall loved the quality they serve.Food: 5/5
Go to place when I feel I want to eat Indian Gujarati street food. I would say it’s expensive but worth. Always have issue of not providing chutney with everything they have.Recommended dishesIndian Snacks, Lilva Kachori, Fafda and Jalebi, Puff Dabeli Samosa Khaman Handvo
Lots of options available for Indian Gujarati snacks and sweets. Mohanthal and Shrikhand are one of the best items in taste. Made with pure ghee and blessings.Food: 5/5
Shayona did food catering for our wedding for 125 guests. The food was absolutely fresh, amazing and was praised by all of our guests despite the fact there was no onion or garlic. They provided snacks as well jalebi & fafda and they were delicious. Their delivery timing and setup was on point and we have no complaints. There was plenty of food leftover as well so they have a good idea about the quantity of food for the needed for the number of guests. We would definitely recommend Shayona for anyone looking to give catering order!
Rude staff…average and very overpriced food! We went in and asked whether one of the items would be spicy for our 6 and 4 year old. We were told by a very rude and abrupt man not to “keep asking” for mild food and what would we do if we went to india? And how we had to teach our children the right upbringing about food. This was highly rude, arrogant and inappropriate. Its no body’s business how our kids are raised! He needs to be taught some serious manners. This isn’t what their so called “swami” teaches them. We only asked about one dish being mild. The counter staff are rude and dont talk or greet. We eventually opted for the Khichri, Masala Chaas and Dabeli. All of which were tasty but the Khichri was spicy and the Masala Chaas even spicier for adults. We would not recommend this place simply because of the attitude of the people in here. I notice across the world with a lot of the BAPS movement followers that their arrogance is not really a reflection of how they are taught to behave with society. A thumbs down from us. Avoid at all costs really unless you want to be told off and spoken to rudely. Jai Swaminarayan Kid-friendliness: They aren’t kid friendly at all. Expected to be spoken to rudely if you ask for mild food for them and expect to be told how bad your parenting skills are.
Awesome place for tasty Gujarati snacks like Samosas, Lilva Kachoris, Dabeli, Fafda and many more. They also have Indian sweets. Must try!Food: 5/5
