Since 1970, Banyen Books & Sound has grown to become an abundant oasis – one of the most comprehensive selections in North America focusing on Spiritual Traditions, Healing Arts, and Earth Wisdom. Our store offers over 26,000 titles: books, music, DVDs, audio teachings, and oracles. We also have a wide spectrum of gifts, meditation and yoga supplies, colouring books, musical instruments, crystals, statues, incenses and smudges, and much, much more. This Store has such a special vibe! I found the pendant I had been looking for—it caught my eye instantly, and I knew it was the one. No hesitation, it’s absolutely beautiful. There are also many other unique items, along with a great selection of art and culture books. A wonderful place to explore!

This bookstore is a whole experience! It has books of several topics and the decoration and environment invite you to stay and explore as much as possible. I love they have little stools next the shelf’s so you can use them for sitting while deciding over which book to buy, or even for reaching out higher shelves. I like as well that is mostly managed by women, and that you can find a lot of books and holistic items, tarot and oracles of all kinds and designs. Witchcraft and nature are other topics that surround the clients, women empowering, different religions and the relationship with nature. I highly recommend coming with time and well eaten because you will spend a lot of time exploring. Love it.

It's a sanctuary of all spiritualists. Books, tools, arts, and crafts. It's so interesting that one can lose a track of time spending there

The best store in Vancouver, with super friendly staff! A little expensive depending on the item, but so much to look at and so many sound healing tools and books.nAlso it's the only place in the city that carries my favourite copal incense

My friend especially took a day to visit  this store during  her trip to Vancouver.  Now she is in delight! This is the best shop, which she has ever been. There is the richest selection of esoteric items at reasonable prices! Plus, it is really nice customer service.
