Story

We are an Iranian restaurant. Unfortunately that category has yet to exist as a check box, and we refuse to check off Middle Eastern.We have tried to create and carve a reflection of the metropolis of Tehran and the cosmopolitan nature of our culture, people, and cuisine into the Canadian mosaic.

But really, we just love to eat good food and drink great spirits, and play music and dance!

Good place to try Persian food. Always good kebabs and rice. Came for Summerlicious and had the eggplant starter, chicken and saffron rice and the rice pudding. Washed it down with the yogurt drink which works really well. I would like to try some other dishes next time.
Prices are very high and unreasonable compared with the quality of the food , services are so slow, we liked appetizers more than the main meals. Not recommended!
Nice staff!!!! This pandemic has been hard on everyone, and I appreciate them bringing in quality Iranian grocery, and changing lanes to survive. Love the little jars of torshi! Keep it up
In terms of how delicious the meal was, fantastic. The portions were not that much and the prices were not cheap. We got the barberry rice and chicken which was delicious but it was super expensive for the portions we got for takeout. Otherwise it’s okay.
Probably one of the best places I have tried kebabs from. It had so much flavour and the quality is top-notch! The price is quite expensive though.. but that I know is because the meats are high quality. Customer service is also very good. If you want to try good Middle Eastern Iranian food, this would be a great to try!
One of the best Persian cuisines in Toronto. The waitstaff is great and takes care to explain and the service is on point. The flavours were very well combined and the food is delicious. This small Persian place packs a punch!!
Banu was always the best restaurant in T.O for persian food. Always fresh, amazing service and delicious. Nowadays only takeout or delivery but they have expanded into market and grocery items and I love it!!!!! Everything I need to prep my favourite persian meals. Love this place
