The best Indian food Ive ever had in Toronto! There isn’t a single dish on the menu that’s not perfect! But I would still recommend the Biryani and the Pav Bhaji! I stayed on Bayview avenue for 1 month in an AirBnb and this was my go to place for every meal. The chef Arun is a gem and cooks the best food, and the server Divesh is the sweetest guy ever! A must visit for every Indian Foodie!
Great option for dine in, as well as takeout. They usually have 2 for 1 meal deals in UberEats. I was impressed with their special tea menu. Varieties of options when it comes to meals and light bites; which is why I love their food menu as well. Definitely worth a try, it is one of our top neighbourhood favourites.
Great place for dine in. We had Bombay veg sandwich, Veg Puffs & Kashmiri Chai with biscuits. Food was good, but Kashmiri Chai was not actual Kashmiri Chai. I had Kashmiri Chai at Naan and Chai restaurant that was pink in color and taste wise different than ordinary Assam chai. The one I had at Bombay Snack Bar is brown in color and taste wise normal chai as Assam tea, but the good thing is presentation of food & drinks. They serve chai in kulhad & staff is really nice.
Lovely place tucked in on the busy Bayview street. Reminds you of home. Loved the Irani chai, the homemade biscuits and especially served in the "kullad", it was nice touch. Adding Waffle fries to samosa Chaat, was unique but surprisingly worked very well. Tried both the paneer and the chicken Frankie rolls, they are very filling. Wafers given with the rolls was a nice throwback to childhood birthday parties. The staff was very polite and attentive.Would definitely visit again to try the other things on the menu.
Writing this review before my 2nd visit — We checked out this place after 5 and half or waves of COVID. The food, setup and staff were all great. It has a good Parsi Mumbai restaurant feel to it. We tried Pav Bhaji and Sev Puri- my personal favourites when it comes to street food and both items were legit!
Fantastic place on Bayview Ave! Food was so good! Service was even better! We had the Chicken Tandoori Tadka Frankie, Chili Chicken Karahi Frankie, and Keema Pau. All so good. They have craft beer and wine also. They accommodated a table for 8 which was amazing! Can't say enough good things about this place. Check it out!
I loved the presentation of food. The taste is alright. Samosa chaat was great. One can try their Iranian Chai as well. The place is beautiful. You can come here for a date or with family and friends.
we visited this place for brunch a couple of days ago and the entire experience was very pleasant. the friendly service, the clean presentation of the food and amazing taste will definitely have us going back!
Absolutely Pathetic! Ordered thru uber for the first time after looking at the reviews and boy wat a sad experience.. ordered pavbhaji and sandwiches. Both overpriced by the way. I think they sent us water mixed with spices instead of bhaji…never seen such poorly prepared bhaji ever in my life..Seriously ask yourself do u call this bhaji???…guys if you are out of something just let the customer know..instead of adding more water & serving . You are embarrassing indian food! Never again!
Delicious food, friendly service. We tried this place for lunch on a weekend. Nice modern atmosphere, service was decent, and the food was really good. We got the aloo paratha and dal, a Chilli chicken Frankie roll, and a Bombay veg sandwich. All really tasty, and good portion sizes, so come hungry! Also got their chai, with homemade biscuits, which was also delicious! Would definitely come again!
