Story

Our cozy restaurant of 40 seats, in style, is a continuation and reflection of more than five centuries of traditional Iranian eateries known by names such as sofreh khaneh or qahva khaneh. It is bejewelled by things Persian such as handmade textiles, tablecloths, lush rugs, minakari (copper enamel work), lanterns, paintings depicting Iranian legends and heroes from ages long gone, and above all, turquoise and blue tiles of Persian poetry and calligraphy. Along with this authentic style and ambiance, the kitchen unearths a wealth of home-style dishes focussing on a variety of stews, the alchemy of Persian cuisine, from the different climes and regions of Iran. I lived most of my childhood in Tehran but I didn't even know half of their stews! we tried to be spontaneous and order stews that we never had before and all of them were a win! so delicious and fresh and tasteful! definitely recommend them

I've always loved the food - this was the first time I ordered online! For the amount I paid the portion was really small and they squeezed it in a small box ! I wish it was packed better and I got more meat than bones! The taste was amazing though! Appreciated anyways! Keep it up!

I absolutely love Pomegranate, and it has been my special occasion takeout place for the pandemic, in particular. Lovely food, beautifully prepared, good portions, great proprietors. Only problem is, I love the chicken fesenjaan so much I have trouble making myself try other things -- but when I do, it's also delicious!

I personally thought the food was good, but the rest of my table thought their meal was delicious! It was an authentic experience and the decor was very interesting to look at. The staff were very friendly and thorough when explaining the dishes to people who are not familiar with Persian food.

Food is great! Great vibe with lots of antique decoration. I only wish they had a bigger dining room. The place is packed and people can be loud and kill the vibe. Make sure to make reservations and be on time to avoid waiting.
