Came in tonight to try out the featured thali. We had the curried shrimp and curried chicken. The Hyderabadi biryani was so incredible and you could taste the hours of work and authentic spices in every bite. I will be back with the whole family to sample the full menu. The staff was very friendly and took the time to explain the various dishes. It was an inviting atmosphere and I highly recommend trying them out.

I was looking everywhere in Edmonton to find that perfect Hyderabadi Biryani. I must say this is possibly the best biryani I have eaten so far in the past 10 year of living in Canada. This was very much what I would expect going into a restaurant for Biryani in Hyderabad. The spiciness was perfect and consistent through out. Best biryani in Edmonton.

Authentic South Indian Cuisine. Especially Veggie Biryani Awesome! Definitely a place to visit and try. Once tried ...... can't stop from visiting again and again. Edmonton weather apt for Mirchi Bajji. Not too spicy ... enjoyable by all age group.

The best South Indian cuisine in Edmonton. If you are looking to taste the real Hyderabadi biryani, you gotta visit Banjara. The chicken biryani and goat biryani are awesome at a reasonable price. Go Gita Goat Curry is one of the Highlights in their menu...also they have the best non-veg thali where you get to taste 2 types of curries, rasam, dal, puri, papad, dahi, biryani, rice at a good price. Last but not the least you get a feast of South Indian tiffins like dosas, idly, puri, vada, utappam, pesaretru, Mysore bajji...love those...the best part is they have the highest quality and cheaper price when compared with the other South Indian restaurants... Thanks for opening this amazing restaurant in Edmonton.

Had exceptional dining experience at banjara, order the thali and chicken biriyani , the flavours were exploding in the dum biriyani so as the curries in thali were authentic andhra style made, interior is not that great but thats not the ordeal. I would give 5 star for food.

If you are in search for authentic South Indian flavour in Edmonton this is the place to go. Cooked in a similar fashion to that of traditional ways followed back home all their meat and vegetarian delights always satisfied my appetite. Friendly staff and located conveniently on 34th Ave and Calgary Trail with ample parking are added assets to this restaurant. My recommendations are Chicken Dum Biryani, Mutton Dum Biryani, Goat Masala Curry, Gutti Vankaya Egg Plant and Mirchi Bajji. -FEB 06 2017

Incredibly delicious dosas , chutneys that came with it were new to what I have had in the past. Tasted just as good as dosas I ate in India Staff were very kind and friendly. Will be back for sure!

Authentic Hyderabadi food! Must check out. They have unique tasty appetizers. Biriyani is outstanding!

Authentic South Indian taste....Especially Biryani is awesome. Very friendly Staff and a nice place to hang out with Family.

Great little new place with some different flavours. Try their stuffed Chilly pakoras and the egg pakoras. Food was Good the place looked like family run. Will go back again.
