Perfect combination of good food & hospitality. The have many veg+non-veg options including hundreds of different drinks. I have never tested softer nun before in any Indian restaurants in Edmonton .The food portion is perfect. The taste is way different from other restaurants. They don’t just put excessive amount of onion or tomato paste on their curry that’s what I liked the most.. The servers are really friendly and they will help you to find the best option for you. Neat and clean environment. Interior design is perfect which will definitely give you nice and cosy feeling.
Food is delicious, ambience is perfect but service is little slow. Prices are little high but worth the flavors. Its nice to have some places where you get the right mix of flavor and ambience. I really hope that they work on their customer service. Around 6 pm another serverasian person started his shift and he was awesome and made sure that poor service we received an hour before was reversed and made sure we were happy with the food so an extra star for him.
Beautiful ambiance with delicious food and good customer service. The prices were reasonable, I wouldn’t call it cheap though. I don’t drink so haven’t tried their drinks. But both entrees and main course were good. I would definitely consider visiting in the future.
Hospitality can be improved..there was only one server between like 5 tables and she was also bar tending..server was very nice but it would be great if management can lend extra people to improve Hospitality.. We ordered 4 cocktails all were good... Food was good on taste..I would say pricing is on higher side but Quantities are huge.. Serving onions on side in Canada is going above and beyond for a Indian restaurant Overall will definitely return during rush hour to experience better Hospitality and drinks.. Vegetarian options: Good vegitarian options in all courses
This place is really good for good Indian food along with good cocktails. It's hard to find good cocktails in Indian restaurants but every cocktail we ordered here was good. The quantity of food was good. Taste was great. Ambience was nice too. Would definitely come back.Food: 5/5
Wow! We had a fantastic dinner here and can't say enough about how good it was. Very nice ambiance and decor. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The cocktails were really well made. My boyfriend got an old fashioned and it came out covered in a glass case and when lifted, the smoke poured out so it was a really cool experience. We had fritters, papadum, smoked butter chicken, a curried beef with garlic naan and rice. The flavours and portions were incredible and they even brought out a nice birthday dessert with a sparkler for him! Very thoughtful, thank you! We each had 2 cocktails as well and only spent $130 so we were very impressed. Also surprised to find it located in a Holiday Inn! Highly recommend if you love Indian food! Vegetarian options: Lots of gluten free options!
We tried the below items : > Smoked Butter Chicken > Tawa Hara Paneer > Monsoon Kulfi Falooda Milkshake > Stuffed Paneer Naan > Garlic Naan Butter chicken was okayish, the chicken was a lil chewy and was lil dry from inside. Tawa hara paneer was delicious but a lil oily. Falooda was good. Naans were well done and flavourful too. Place is neat and well done. Service was good too. So it’s a 3/5 considering Prices are a lil high considering the portion size.
My brother and I ate here whilst staying in the hotel it’s connected to. Amazing food. Amazing hospitality. Chill and relaxing atmosphere. What a wonderful place. I’m for sure coming back next time in Edmonton and recommending to others. Had tandoori chicken, korma and naan.
Monsoon was the first restaurant I visited on a trip to Edmonton. and They gave a great impression to us who started a trip. They were really friendly and the curry and Lamb Tanduri was delicious although I’ve never tried lamb before. I’d like to try other menu if I visit Edmonton again
In town on business and stayed at the attached hotel. I arrived at lunch hungry from the 4hr flight. The menu was not your typical Vindaloo or aloo gobi you see elsewhere. The menu is broken into Shareables, Tandoor Se and Mains. I opted for the Monsoon Biryani and it was delicious. The curried basmati rice was fragrant and fluffy and the chicken pieces were moist and fork tender. The flavor was incredible and I had to restrain myself from eating with just one fork! Flash forward a few hours and i am back at the hotel. Although i had the biryani for lunch i thought it would be great to try something off the Shareable menu for dinner. Again. Out of this world. I ordered the Dahi Kabab- tasty croquettes with melt in your mouth masala paneer inside and the Amritsari Machhi - nice sized shareable pieces of hand battered cod. The fish was nicely spiced as was the accompanying two sauces for dipping. I am not sure what the sauces were i did take-out - one was sweet and the other had a lovely cilantro taste to it. Excellent. I must admit, both meals were a treat. I am looking forward to going back. Tomorrow! If you find yourself in Edmonton, don’t pass this place by. Your taste buds will thank you.
