This is a great little neighbourhood gem! Tiny little restaurant in a strip mall, with pick up/take out/delivery only, but don't judge a book by its cover... I was so impressed by how consistently good all the dishes were..some of the best Chinese I've had in Calgary! I ordered for pickup, and it was ready in 15 minutes. It was all super fresh, hot and tasty, with generous portions. The lemon chicken, salt and pepper squid and ginger beef were all so crispy and crunchy. Nice tender veggies and beef in the beef and broccoli, and both the chow mein and chicken fried rice were very flavourful. Definitely recommend!
Food here is good. I've ordered a couple times through Door Dash and have never had any issues with time. Decided to order directly through the restaurant tonight and was told 45 minutes to an hour for delivery. After waiting an hour and a half, I called to see what was up and they told me 20 more minutes at the latest. After 2 hours I called again and was told 5 more minutes, which was accurate that time. They said sorry but didn't seem to care and didn't try to offer anything to make the situation any better. There's a few other Chinese restaurants nearby and I will be utilizing those places now.
Portions were fairly small compared to what I'm used to. Had it Delivered. Was relatively quick but showed up cold. Food was blamed, ordered wor wonton for 2,chicken fried rice, chicken mixed vegetables, ginger beef relatively small order $ 60.00 Would not recommend this restaurant.
We ordered 4 meals and they only got 1 right. Got broccoli instead of spare ribs, chicken instead of shrimp, chow mein instead of egg noodles. What's the point of paying for food if they get it wrong. Not the first time either, we ordered spring rolls and they never gave them to us. Do not recommend.
Really great food! Also really enjoyed your almond chicken with gravy on the side!! Salt and pepper squid was amazing too, shanghai noodles were great and dumplings too! Well my whole meal was just really good!
Today is the day of bad luck, 2 bad reviews less than 3 hours apart.. first wendys, then bamboo house. I placed an order on skip and there was no option for regular ginger beef only spicy so I wrote in the comments regular ginger beef only please not spicy. So then I get a call and the lady says to me, "you should have just said not spicy" and that was all she said to me, and I was like... okay... she also had an attitude like the girl at wendys, I think they're related. That is all
The Chinese food was absolutely amazing. The customer service was polite and always available to help. Overall experience was great and I will be back there very soon.
We ordered ginger beef, BBQ pork fooyong my fav, salt and pepper ribs, lemon sui Gai. They are all great! Beyond my expectation. You are basically paying half for the higher quality of food you are having in other Chinese restaurants. The service is great too. A lady called me when the order is ready for pick up. Excellent experience. I will come back again!
Always good takeout and service!! I've never had a problem with my order. The food is tasty and they give you plenty. You should try it!
