Lots of room to find your own space to relax. Makes you forget this is a city park, feels like an oasis.
It's alright for disc golf, but it's popular for entitled dog walkers to use while avoiding the dog park 300 yds away. A couple holes next to Fir street are better than the river at the train trestle.
Wish they would let you know when they cut the grass as my daughter has allergies to fresh cut grass and as part her birthday wish she wanted go to a park... I know many others who avoid parks for same reason. We shouldn't have to avoid any park for any reason if we know the day it's cut.
Pretty quiet, large area, clean but not really well maintained. Pot holes bigger than my car. No covered areas, no barbecue pits…it is Washington after all folks. Mostly a dog park.
Huge grass areas for kids to run, trees for shaded spots for a picnic, baseball fields, basketball courts, dog park, skate park, small play area, seating, restrooms, drinking fountain, grills, very nice and quiet setting in middle of residential area. Huge indoor building with so much more offered. Lots of parking in 2 separate lots and plenty of parking along road outlining park.
My dog loves it. Dog park included. Playground, ball fields 4 skatepark tucked in the back with bball courts soccer fields AND disc golf. Connects to Kulshan trail back by the skate park.
Great visit. And right inside the park is a off leach dog park which my pupper really enjoyed. Everyone there was freindly understanding fellow dog owners.
Fun spot for kids sports. It has a Skate park, dog park, trails, bmx park, baseball fields, soccer fields, indoor soccer fields, disc golf, playground although some sections are under construction and an accessible bathroom.
Great dog park. Lots of room to play fetch. Has a water fountain for the dogs and their humans. Has some obstacles for the dogs to play on as well.
Its a nice park overall with a nice sized fenced in dog park. My biggest complaint is that everytime I go, I end up picking up at least 10 or more doggie piles from other peoples dogs. Come on people...there's no excuse when there's baggies by the entrance. That's just being flat out lazy and disrespectful to all the other pet owners. Those of you who do pick up after your own, thank you very very much
