Would give better rating if they didn't pick and chose what dogs they let in or not. Cant say no German shepherd dogs due to aggressive breed and then let the next renter in with the same breed of dog. Doesn't make sense. Nice area. Some private spots. Feels more like camping so hay. Just not dog or children friendly.

We booked a night stay this morning and paid over the phone. I was very clear on the phone that we had a dodge caravan camper van that has no hookups. We just arrived and met with the camp hosts. The man’s first comment to my husband was, “Do you have an RV with you?” When he replied no, both the woman and he said, “Nope” and shook their heads as if we were some bottom of the barrel scum who were not allowed in “their” resort (which they already took our money for). When my husband pointed out that we had already paid, the woman jumped to say she would refund us. My husband asked since they already took our money if they could make an exception instead because it would be difficult to find somewhere to stay after 8pm. The host said because there are new owners that just invested seven million dollars into renovations they could absolutely not make an exception, but that they would fire the person who messed up. What!? How about just learning to have better customer service? Mistakes happen. We get it. What I am appalled by is the treatment we received by the man and woman who met with us. Not only did your business make a mistake, but you compounded the situation by making us feel “less than” “your” accepted customer. You essentially told us we could not stay because it would ruin the image you wanted. (That is the impression you gave us at least.) To top it off- you just rattled off some places we could go instead of attempting to even help us find something, or find any way to try to “make it right.” Refunding someone their money at night and telling them to go somewhere else is not making it right btw. You couldn’t have even offered us a shower? The casino hotel you said was down the road was sold out btw. With that level of screw up, I’d expect a little more politeness and help finding a place aside from essentially saying, “Too bad. You’re not “our” customer. Had you shown any remote compassion or attempted to help us, I would have been inclined to leave a review that said “even when they make mistakes, they go out of their way to help you.” Instead, you can have this awful review online. I have never been so taken back. To top it off, I sincerely believe you planned to tell us “too bad” instead of calling us to let us know our reservation was accepted by mistake. There was no overnight reservation paperwork on the door like places usually leave, and the husband AND wife both came to our vehicle after first smoking a cigarette when we called the after hours number. I hope alongside the investment in the appearance of your park, you take this experience as an opportunity to invest in better management and customer service.

We have been spending time here off and on for the past10 or 15 years. Always enjoyed the time we spent here. Almost all of the sites are nice, but some are really nice. We like the southwest part of the park. There you will find nice quiet shady sites. The northwest part of the park seems more crowded with more sun. In late August you can pick wild blackberries to your hearts content. The last three summers we took home at least a gallon of blackberries in the freezer. Great RV park, highly recommended.

Beautiful RV Resort. Our site has a gazebo worth a nice table. The dog park is huge and there is a nice walking trail directly behind the Resort. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the only trash cans are in the front of the park which is a long trek.

Great RV park. I don't know where any of these complaints are coming from. We are a military family and have never had any issues with staff/management. They're great with our kiddos and pups. When we first got here, we were greated by Barbie. Then one of the owners, Rick helped us find our RV spot and helped us back into our space. This place is beautiful. Tall trees, large gazebo, basketball courts, dog park, and kiddos playground. I'm not sure what the cabins look like inside, but they're adorable on the outside! Beat decision we made was to camp here.
