My first ever visit to a Bakers dozen Large Coffee was okay, a little old maybe. It was about 7:30 PM on a Sunday and I was the only customer and I sat in the parking lot for about 5 minutes and I was still the only customer. I sometimes microwave my two hours old coffee so I am no conaser I just love coffee. The apple fritters were nice but the doughnuts looked small so I passed. Service was obviously fast and friendly. My wife wanted a small coffee and I think I was given a medium cup that was 2/3 full? Again my first ever visit
I go to the drive through almost everyday. You cant compare the cheddar bagels and herb garlic cream cheese to tim hortons. They are amazing! Staff are super friendly. Alot of shady people sit out the front and inside so I stick with the drive through.
I work just up the road from these guys, I stop in every day to get the peameal bacon egg and cheese on a bagel. I eat this every day haha, I look for something special when I choose where I eat. I’ll dont like the cookie cutters like Starbucks and places like timmies can look really good inside but the service and quality don’t always reflect that. People in coffee houses are hard to talk to. This place has regulars sitting out in the shade talking smoking sipping coffee. Very friendly people, easy to talk to, food and coffee are always hot and fresh. Staff are never edgy, always fun and nice to catch up with. I don’t know why people care so much about what the walls look like, what the clientele look like. I sell cars for a living and always have some dirt or oil on me. I tried a upscale coffee shop smack downtown, had a dirty shirt on, dirty looks, attitude behind the counter, noses in the air. I was treated so poorly I felt like I walked into a place I didn’t belong. I thought whoever does belong here, they can keep their 20 dollar soup and sandwich. I’m gonna stick to my 6 dollar fill up and eventually work up the nerve to propose to the entire weekend staff lol.
I came here with my son Steve. I ordered a milkshake and they gave me a coffee. I gave my son the coffee because I do not drink it. I asked at the counter for a milk shake and they said they do not sell them. My son got energy from coffee and was annoying. My son used the washroom and threw his fecees all over the walls. The workers came in and he threw it at them also. He threw his fecees all over the kitchen aswell and nobody cared. Disgusting.
The friendly staff make the difference. Great place for coffee and quick bite to eat. Recent renovations have really helped. The new interior paint looks great!
So unsanitary. Seriously.. How does it pass it's health inspection!? I dunno how or why people want to hang out here all day? It's not somewhere I'd go again or ever tell anyone about. Just because it's the cheapest coffee downtown Bowmanville does not mean it's worth it lol.
The new management is doing a great job. Clean store courteous service great cup of coffee and tasty breakfast sandwiches. Way to go.
I went there every day before going to work for a few weeks until one day after getting unnecessary slow service with no one else ordering inside and no one behind us in the drive through, I discovered after drinking my hot chocolate for a few hours that there was a full on centipede at the bottom of my cup
Very friendly customer service, very quick, and just had the best jalapeno-cheddar herb&garlic cream cheese bagel of my life hands down.
The coffee was very good. The owner could do something to improve the facilities but the othet clientele I observed would not appreciate such changes.
