Bake N' Cakes

We ordered a marble cake for our anniversary. We called the order in from out of state. The person who took our order was so knowledgeable and competent that ordering long distance was very painless. Our specific requests were accomplished with ease. The cake was ready when we arrived, and the staff were dressed very professionally. Everyone at our party loved the delicious cake. We have only great things to say about Bake 'N Cakes. Thanks for making our anniversary special.

NEVER GO HERE, they’re called Bake N’ Cakes but THEY DONT EVEN MAKE THEIR OWN CAKES! Nothing is homemade, everything comes from a box. Don’t waste your money on this low-quality joint. You’d be better off going to the bakery at Kroger or Meijer or buying box mix if you want the same quality of dessert!

I asked for half a dozen frosted sugar cookies. The clerk packed some from the bottom of the display. I asked if they were fresh. She replied, "They're a day old and cheaper than today's cookies." I asked how they would taste and she assured me they would be as good as today's cookies. They were not. They were dry and stale. Lesson learned on my part. No day old cookies from here.

Slightly skewed review here. I've never ordered a cake from here. I just come in for the sweets. I take my family here whenever they are in town. They have delicious cookies, pineapple upside down cake, muffins....everything. If you're looking for a quick tasty treat, you need to come here. It's affordable and ready to go.

I've purchased 3 cakes from here, two dream cakes and one cheesecake. They are all delicious and usually ready to go the same day. I've heard all around town that you should never custom order from here, but I've had great experiences buying ready-made cakes. The staff is always friendly.. I go in and come right back out with the cake. It's something different than the normal ready-made cakes you find at the grocery stores and they taste really good. It's about $30 for the Dream Cakes (they are amazing) and $24 for a large cheesecake which tastes fantastic. I did stop by one time trying to set up for a dinosaur cake from them for my son's birthday and wasn't impressed by the custom service help (they really acted not interested), but I'll keep returning for the ready made cakes.
