Story

For over 35 years, the award-winning Bad Dog Theatre Company (previously known as Theatresports Toronto) has specialized in the art of unscripted comedy and improvised performance, and has provided affordable, accessible improv training for thousands of people of all ages and experience.

Voted Best Small Theatre Company in Toronto (2017) by the readers of NOW Magazine and led by renowned improv veteran Julie Dumais Osborne, Bad Dog Theatre presents Theatresports – Toronto’s longest running improv show – every Saturday plus shows throughout the week at The Bad Dog Comedy Theatre - 875 Bloor St. W.

Cozy, great atmosphere, very welcoming and enjoyable improv show!! I will be back for sure. At the beginning we got beers and you're able to bring them into the theater. Cute bar area. Walked by outside two times though, make sure you're looking for the door!

The amateur comedians were surprisingly good. They and including the Hosts kept the Crowd engaged. It was my first time going there and will definitely be going back.

Great little local spot for improv.  It showcases a lot of local talent and all over Canada.  It's small but still comfortable :

Bad Dog's Online shows have some of the best production value I've ever seen. Very funny stuff.

Great venue!! The show was funny and entertaining! Will definitely be back.

How did this place get such good reviews. Omg went to see the Rats nest last night, a parody of the Dragon’s Den. So horrible!!!! So not professional.  I am not funny and I could have done a better job. Do not go.
