As you can tell I’m obsessed with her cakes & desserts! Everything tastes sooo good and the designs/decorations on the cakes are always perfect! The staff are always friendly & the shop is beautiful! Always recommending her!

I was searching for a bakery in Scarborough and I found Cakes by Ayam through Instagram. I was excited by all of the great reviews that I read and decided to reach out with an inquiry for 3 dozen cupcakes. They responded to me very quickly and they were very accommodating of the food allergies at the event I was attending. I provided them with an idea and the real cupcakes were spot on; they were gorgeous and a huge hit at the party. I absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for quality baked goods.

I was so incredibly happy with my cupcakes from Cakes by Ayam! I ordered two dozen for my daughter’s birthday. I found the price to be more than fair, the communication was excellent, the service at the counter when I picked up my order was friendly and courteous and the cupcakes were AMAZING! All of our guests commented on how delicious these cupcakes were: moist and fluffy, not too sweet, and unbelievably good frosting. I would highly, highly recommend this bakery and can’t wait to order from them again.

I ordered 6 cupcakes for me and my boyfriend’s 3 year anniversary of dating and might I say they looked EXACTLY like the picture? They were delicious and moist and the icing was fluffy and not TOO sweet- overall it was amazing. Did stain my teeth but it made his day and mine that much more special

They did such an amazing job on my son’s birthday cake! She got every detail I wanted correct and responded fairly quick! The pricing was also very doable! My family and I really enjoyed the cake as well, usually these fancy cakes aren’t the greatest tasting but this cake was SOOO moist and flavourful! All in all, super happy and a lifetime customer!

I just had the strangest experience ever at Cakes by Ayam. I stopped in to try and order a basic cookies and cream cake for my husbands birthday on March 14th. I was told they are not taking custom cake orders until March 12, but that if I came back March 12 that would not be enough time to make my cake by the 14th. I was not offered any alterative or suggestion for how my order could be fulfilled. I was basically just turned away as a paying customer. It appears they just did not want my money. Very strange experience. I would recommend a different cake shop that is actually willing to work with the customer and provide alternative solutions. It would also be helpful to know when this shop actually takes custom orders so that people can place them according to their order schedule. Extremely disappointed in my experience and would not recommend this shop.

I celebrated my son’s birthday last week so planned to order a cake from ayam .. to be honest she made my wish come true the cake was so beautiful and tasty and my little one enjoyed a lot thanks for your hard work ayam

Ayam was very professional. She made sure that what my vision for the cake I had in mind, become a reality. She communicated with me very well on what needed to done. The cake turned out wonderful for my friend bridal shower. Everyone really loved the cake. She’s amazing check her out.

I will highly recommend Cakes by Ayam for the great design and taste. I am so glad she created the cupcakes exactly as I wanted. Very neatly done and it tasted amazing.

probably the worst customer service i and my family has ever experienced. she was so rude and unprofessional and she was literally yelling at my sister at the top of her lungs, it was so disgusting. super condescending tone and no manners. and we got it all on recording too! our cake basically collapsed on its own as she didn’t give it support or structure, and we tried asking for a compensation and she was so rude about it, she said she’s giving us zero percent of our money back and if she is to do anything, she would take the broken cake and make us drive back to her shop and pick up a new one take in this is literally hours before my party!!!! she also tried blaming it on us while we reassured her we took very well care of it on the ride home. she clearly didn’t add proper structure and support to the cake and it appeared to collapse. she took absolutely zero accountability and responsibility for her mistake. skip this girl, 0/10 experience. cake also tasted awful lol, so disappointed. i’d give zero stars if i could.
