Sweet Caroline Café

I found this hidden gem by accident. I was in the building for medical reasons. I was at the door, all set to leave, and there comes this wonderful aroma.. oh my!!! It was Curry chicken from Sweet Caroline Cafe. Reminded me of my mom's preparation from India. I had to taste it, so ordered a curry chicken rice with salad. Did not disappoint me. It's a soul food and a must try. The owner was friendly and nice. She makes this fantastic pickle, out of this world!!! I've requested her to make me a bottle. Simple ingredients and a heavenly food. I will be back again. Please continue to feed us

I have popped into this cafe a few times after my doctors appointment. Not only is the food delicious, yummy baked goods.. Caroline herself is a ray of sunshine and I leave there feeling a little happier!

Came here for my blood test and was taken by the delicious smell of their jerk chicken meal. The food did not disappoint and the owner is so welcoming and lovely. Their hot sauce is HOT as well! Husband and I really loved it!

Stumbled across sweet caroline when I had an appointment at the building. It was the smell of the food that led me there. I bought a chicken sandwich from there and boy oh boy it was delicious. I loved it! Would definitely go back anytime I pass through.

I entered the cafe, counted up the 3+ dollars I have to my name and noticed there were some customers at the cash register. I had a travel mug with coffee in it that I brought from class - since there were customers, I went to the coffee sugar/cream section to put some sugar and cream in my coffee before buying a pastry to eat for lunch at the cafe. Upon finishing making my coffee - the person working asked me if I was going to buy a coffee and I replied that I will be buying a pastry! She then disregarded this and asked me if Starbucks would've allowed me to take cream and sugar without buying a coffee and I said: "probably". She replied that this isn't Starbucks.. I then asked again if I could pay for a pastry and she repeated that she is a local business and cream and sugar is for coffees bought on premises.. She said I didn't have to buy anything, so I left. I came back in from a cigarette and offered to pay for a coffee. She said she didn't want to serve me anymore and basically hinted I shouldnt come back. Very weird experience.. I tried to rectify but it seems this person was too angry to communicate effectively with me. I'll just go to Tim Hortons, my bad.

Pauline the owner of Sweet Caroline's is a wonderful person. I look forward to buying my lunc there every Monday when I go to the building for medical reasons. Vegetarian options: Pauline has a lot of toppings for salads.

The store owner, Pauline, is a great person with an amazing welcoming manner and provides one of the best foods in Scarborough!

It’s the first cafe shop I tried look for the tip option, which I left with no tip when I received such a great service. No wonder it’s call the Sweet Caroline.

Sweet Caroline great service great place. Looking for a quick bit warm coffee something to hold you over stop by. One of those places that makes you feel at home!!!!

Super clean cafe. Delicious comfort food. Paulina is a great host. It was just a delightful experience for husband and I to eat her Curry chicken
