Our visit was one of most positive experiences of our lives. My wife and I were welcomed in the most warm and open manner possible. If we lived nearer we would be there every weekend.

This is a truly amazing place. People are so friendly and kind. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The pool is terrific. The cabins are cute and have everything you need. It is very
relaxing atmosphere. It's hard to believe it's in Minnesota. We have made many new friends. It is a warm and accepting place. I highly recommend it. Give it a try.

This is one of those places that are nice to you before you are a member... but after they have your money watch your butt! Mean and ruthless people. Never have a a nice thing to say about you and never willing to be of any kind of help. If you have a question for them wait three to six days for a response and be ready for an extra charge.

I called and it was agreed I could visit as an AANR Member even though I was an unaccompanied male.
After driving out to East Bethel, I called to get directions only to be told that a board member had overridden the decision. I am no longer welcome.
I realize each club can make its own rules up as it goes along, that's life. But if an organization aligns itself with AANR one should get a chance to meet the management face to face, not simply be told you are not welcome to drop by
I'm glad I live in Tennessee where we don't have to endure this type of discrimination. As long as I behave myself, I am welcome at all clubs in TN
