Melissa at Avante always does a great job with my color. I have curly hair that has a mind of its own. The hair in different sections will absorb the color in completely different ways. Melissa actually uses different color formulas for different sections to accommodate my quirky hair. She's the best. I highly recommend Melissa.

I've had professional color done in Manhattan for 15 years. When I moved up to Dutchess I stayed with my SoHo colorist until an inevitable emergency forced me to find someone local. Melissa has been beyond anything I could hope for-- I would say she's better than any of my former colorists. I usually get a few blow outs at Blo and Dry Bar in the course of a month-- and I've had multiple hairdressers there give me compliments on how good my colorist is.
