Barbari bread that I got from this store was better than most other available in this area. The Iranian cupcakes are fresh and delicious. You can also find most of the groceries you need for Iranian cuisine. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. Free parking available.

I would say the best Bakery in GTA. I drive 20Km from Thornhill to Newmarket just for “Ava Bakery &Pastry”. The quality of breads are amazing, the way my family never want any other bread. Just try it. You will see what I Mean. Cheers

I see that someone loves the flat bread at AVA almost as much as I do: they drive 20 Km to get their bread but I drive 80 Km and no complaints - it's that good. I would buy bread wherever a bread shop came into view. However, once I found AVA Super Bakery....well, its right there in the name: SUPER. Because of the distance, I pick up a few packs, leave one out for immediate use and freeze the rest. Take it out of the freezer, it thaws quickly and then I pop it in the oven. Within minutes, its as warm and tasty as when I bought it. I don't know you you, the reader but I wouldn't lie to you- this is the best flat bread anywhere.

I am their customer for more than 3 years, and all of my family love their breads, specially their Sangak is the best in the town. Also, they are very polite and friendly, my daughter is a fan of their lollipops, too.

I'm not sure why there are bad reviews. Like any grocery store you may find yourself coming home with a not so what you expected purchase. Overall I had a good experience at this bakery. Bread was tasty just like most other Persian breads I have had. Although this one was more fresh. I believe in changing it up from time to time and giving business to another one if our local businesses. Its not easy surviving these days and I respect all businesses. I will be back to buy more bread - thank you.

The whole wheat Taftoons they bake in their store is amazing. I cannot eat any other bread after trying this one once. I don't live in Newmarket but drive to there for this bread. I buy a bunch and put in refregrator and each time I take out of refregrator and warm the bread, still feel fresh and good. I highly recommend you to try this bread at least once. I also like the shopkeepers' attitude. They are very friendly.
