Automotive Training Centre (ATC) was created in 1984 and since that time has helped thousands of graduates realize their dream of a career in the automotive field.

Story

We offer full and part-time programs on campus, plus home-study programs through our e-learning division. Over the years, new industry-validated automotive programs have been added in response to the growing demand for well-qualified auto professionals.

Wonderful experience. Supportive staff. Enormous amount of shop time. An awesome place to start if you are completely out your element as I was. While there is always more left to learn in this trade I definitely left equipped with a body of knowledge that I am able to apply daily and I leave too- excited and continuing my automotive career.

I attended the Automotive Training Centre in 2013. I took the Dispatch and Transport Operations course. I enjoyed the class and the faculty at the school was always very helpful. My instructors were supportive and knew just how to challenge me. My experience at the school was nothing but excellent. I am glad I took the course because it gave me the tools that I need to succeed in the field I have chosen for my self. I would recommend the school to anyone wanting to further their education.

Amazing school! My career at this Automotive Training Centre was highly a regarded time in my books. Fundamentally exciting and extremely great teachers that helped coach me along! The classes are small, sometimes found not enough fresh cars walking through the doors but they compensated for lots of old parts! The price is up there but i don't think you'll find the training and love that I found in any other school!

Hi everybody , I am excited to say I have just graduated from the Automotive Training Center with honors. In Dispatching and Transportation Operations.

I was first introduced to the school by Work Safe B.C. and at that time I was into my 9th year of a very severe low back injury I felt would never ever get better,and felt I was being pushed into a situation designed to fail from the start, but with the help from Work Safe BC my Dr.'s and the Cooperation of the Automotive Training Center I am walking tall with a very much improved outlook on life and an improved injury situation too.

 I came into this thing thinking ,No way, I can't do this, it's not for me, I'm not cut out for this, its way out of my wheel house, you've got the wrong man. I'm not the office type, you know what I mean?
 But as time went on ,I started having a lot of fun in class,the instructors here are the best,understanding an individuals needs and going out of their way to make it work for you ,meeting new and interesting people from all walks of life and some other students were also injured workers getting back into the work place, I wasn't alone.
 I really enjoyed my time spent here, I learned a lot that makes me of great benefit to many potential employers, I have more choices for jobs now than ever before, I can take my pick, and I have made my choice, I am a better man for it, Make your choice too, come to school here at the  Automotive Training Center, it'll change your life, I know it changed mine ..

It's a pretty alright school. For the first 4 or 5 months, it was a bit of a hassle and stuff was not going so well, due to class size being 20+ people. However, they have gotten better. Class sizes are now 8 to 10 people since they've brought on another instructor. 

The only gripe I have with the school is that for $15,000 it feels like I spent $5000 more than what I should have. Though, it is slowly getting better, which I am quite happy with. 

There is also one thing I noticed that was false. They do not have a customer base at all. From when I have started (June 29th 2015) to now, I have only seen 5 customers, tops. Other than that, it's been computer work and project cars, "real life situations", so to say

The instructors themselves, for the night course (6pm to 10pm) are absolutely, outstanding. Everything is well presented. There are two types of learning, with them which is extremely awesome. One will tell you to just do it, so you go hard, trying to figure it out, and a lot of times you just over think it and BAM! Mind blown, they show you if you stuck. The other is showing you how you do it, while your doing it then you get an explanation as to why it's important, why it's needed and all the other stuff that you'd need to know. 

I would recommend taking the night course if you can, and if you can afford the course, has a very short waiting list, if any at all. Which is I took this course. Other than that? I would suggest waiting.
