Auberge La Porte Rouge

Rooms are noise. Staff is nice, location is good. The restaurant t is AMAZING!

Spent the second night of our yearly bike trip here and thoroughly enjoyed the large comfortable room with beautiful view of the lake. Service was excellent, and this is a well run establishment. Would recommend to fellow cyclists not to dine at adjoining restaurant, though. If you do, be forewarned that the owner will aggressively pursue tips if you leave less than 15% on total bill (dinner and breakfast were included in our package). Ruined the experience for us - we couldn't witness a repeat performance so did not return for breakfast - but La Porte Rouge is not to be held responsible as they are separate businesses. The contrast in their service was heightened and greatly appreciated after our unbelievable encounter next door. Mon Dieu!

Rooms were small but cosy, reception staff was very helpful and restaurant staff was very helpful.

Really cozy place and amazing location. Aure recommend. Just won't give 5 stars because it does not accept dogs, unfortunately.

Very nice little place. Great price. Right beside bike path "le petit train du Nord" and in front of lac Mercier beach and also convenient to all amenities.
