Atlantic Superstore

I've had an overall very positive experience grocery shopping here- it's well organized and stocked with essentially everything you'd need (groceries, clothing, cleaning supplies, stationery, etc) The food was fresh and reasonably priced as well. As others have mentioned, there's a clearance priced bread shelf both at the entrance and at the bread section worth checking out. I've had nothing but positive experiences with staff encounters here. Everyone was willing to help out and polite too- when I could find them. Something that could be improved upon would be to have more employees on the sales floor to help customers out.

Frequently experiences item shortages. Never have I encountered another store that has regularly disappointed me as much as this one. The constant fiddling of the layout by the corporate offices next door makes things difficult to find. Cleanliness seems to be a problem in this store. There is visible mold growing in the vents above the butcher's area and I have seen the bread slicer not cleaned for several weeks at a time and when I brought it to the attention of the staff they seemed indifferent to the situation. The latest reduction of the quantity of checkout lanes so they can live up to their "All Lanes Open" promotion is not fooling anybody. The prices are very reasonable but everything else makes shopping at the store barely tolerable.

I go there often several times a week. Usually i have no issues but the last time there they had a price sign still up from an old sale or something and when I mentioned it scanned at the wrong price they ask me to show them the price...which I did. They then pulled the price sign off and said it was over. I have to pay the regular price. It was handled poorly and was a big hassle to get them item removed from the self check out.

Usually shop at Bayer's Lake so the layout of Joe Howe kind of messed me up. Huge selection though with the exception of fresh produce, which is a bit scant. Great place to get kitchen and house wares especially if you hate Walmart as much as I do.

Overly priced, sometimes the "deals" are more expensive than the original sales price. The produce is hit and miss on freshness, mostly it is going bad while sitting on the shelf. They also have sales but don't order enough for the week. Tried to get garlic on the first day of sale 3ct rooster brand, they didn't have any and the garlic they did have was more than $1 per bulb.
