We had an absolutely amazing time at this hidden gem... The chef really knows the intricacies of different cuts of steak and his recommendations were all incredibly delicious... From the appetizer of scrumptious soup to the perfectly cooked surf and turf main course topped with the most amazing saffron desert and even better service!!! This place is A+ and a must for all steak lovers!!!! Best halal steak joint in Ottawa...

Moe is an excellent chef! My parents raved about this place. My mom even had her 70th birthday here. After many great stories, we came here for a goodbye celebration and the stories did not disappoint. Incredible lamb, great atmosphere and the portions are huge. You will not be disappointed if you go to Assayyed

The chef is amazing, he understands flavours and how to combine them. His steaks are perfect every time and the view is great. i highly recommend his peppercorn gravy and their fresh squeezed lemonade.

Very disappointing food, it was burnt and it was nothing like we had ever eaten before. I am sorry people gave great deceiving reviews which made us waste our time and money.

Very disappointed. We ordered through Skip the Dishes for 3 person mix grill platters. We were expecting much better experience since it was recommended by a friend who know the Chef!
