Asia Garden Restaurant

It's a nice Asian styled family restaurant and the ambience is good. It's a place that's family focussed with trivia games of Asia and zodiac infograms at the tables. The food is nice, but parking is very limited. Parking: We had to park in the RBC bank parking lot next to it cause the parking lot of the restaurant was all occupied yet inside the restaurant it was empty.

It was my first time trying this restaurant on a friend recommendation and I must say I was very impressed. Best chilly chicken I have had in a long time . I will definitely visit this place again . I would recommend everyone reading my review to try the chilly chicken and their fried rice . Love it !! 10/10. Thank you

Service is good. Owner is the original family from years ago. I like their Manchurian, chilli cheese, fried rice and noodles dishes. Different but good taste for Hakka dishes than the normal other Hakka spots.

In Rexdale this has the best tasting Hakka food and ive tried all of them. The flavours are so good and they use the perfect amount of spices. We love their Hakka chow mein and their chilli chicken with gravy.

Asia garden special chow mein was great. Made to order with fresh ingredients. Well seasoned with a lot of flavour. The only issue I have with this dish is it was too wet for take out. It was swimming in gravy.

Food tasted so fresh and flavours . But would have loved a bit more spicy. Veggie Noodles and manchurian were good

Been coming here since the 90s, love the food and the staff! Feels like family here.

the waitress was good overall but when told that we weren’t satisfied with our soups the chef comes out and tries to ask us the reasoning regarding our unsatisfactory but she kept going back and forth with us and proceed to get upset because we were unsatisfied and the food took long overall about half and hour waiting

Ordered the Manchurian Chow Mein Nd was very tasty! Good place to come with your family and friends.

I am honestly so fed up with this place. First of all, they charge HST even though they don’t provide their HST number on the receipt which is illegal. Second, in the past few years that we have been going there the price literally goes up EVERY SINGLE time that we go there which is multiple times per year and they are not upfront about it. Every time that I try to ask them about the price, suddenly they don’t speak or understand English. It’s such a joke. One time I asked what the total was on the phone and she pretended she didn’t understand me and hung up on me – but she understood my order somehow just not my very simple question. I had to call back and demand the total which was much higher than the menu. On our last visit, the woman who works there made the ridiculous claim that it’s only $0.50 more per item when you can see clear as day in the photos I posted here that each item is about $2.00 higher from what their latest menu says compared to the receipt. Not to mention the fact that they claim you will get a 10% discount on pick-up orders which they never do. We asked for a brand new menu on our last visit which conveniently still has the same cheaper prices as multiple years ago… I wouldn't have a problem with it if they were upfront about the price change, updated their menu, and didn't avoid telling you the total. It’s called false advertising when your latest menu does not reflect the astronomical prices of your tiny dishes – which leads me to my next point. Third, the portion sizes are ridiculously small and of poor quality. Most recently, I ordered a $10 veggie dish that came in a small size container that was only half filled. Lastly, since the pandemic began my family has noticed that Asia Garden keeps “seasoning” several of the dishes with primarily ketchup. Seriously, if you want chicken with ketchup then this is the place for you since apparently they ran out of real seasonings. Fourth, they don’t speak to customers with respect. Several times the person taking phone orders has been sassy, condescending, and rude. I can’t imagine having such a lack of respect for your paying customers. But never again! I’m done with this place for good. This place is a complete scam. I’ll never go back because they are total rip-offs.
