Home of the Arts Club Theatre Company's Stanley Series, the legendary Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage is a newly renovated art deco theatre that originally opened in 1931 as a cinema and Vaudeville House. Now beautifully updated, this 650-seat theatre has been home to musicals such as Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, Mary Poppins and Les Miserables, revitalized classics such as Saint Joan, and comedies ranging from The Odd Couple to One Man, Two Guvnors. The restoration of the venue received a 1999 City of Vancouver Heritage Award.
