Story

Artemano specializes in high quality exotic wood furniture and home décor, but it is more then just furniture to us. With stores in Montreal, Laval, Brossard, Quebec City, Ottawa and Toronto, our roots are in Canada, but our inspiration took shape in faraway lands. From the Rosewood and Mango wood of India to the Suar and Teak of Thailand to the recycled woods of Indonesia; ranging from repurposed railway tracks to reclaimed planks of wood from old fishing boats. We LOVE wood. And we love that each and every unique piece has a story to tell. We share these stories. With love.

Happy with our mango wood dining room table, eventhough the first one we purchased in August 2016 developed some mysterious cracks over the winter. Once we noticed the problem, we contacted them and within a couple of weeks we had a new table. The only knock I have is the delivery on the first table took quite some time, and having read some other reviews it appears I'm not the only one who had this experience
Beautiful unique products, possibly even in stock! Just ask. I had friendly helpful service and was able to pick up my bed frame directly from the store 2 days after selecting it and before committing to it! They opened the boxes for me to inspect the quality, re-wrapped it and loaded it into a van for me to take away.
Matt was very accommodating to my specific needs and requirements. Well articulated in the products I inquired about. Very happy with his help in picking the perfect coffee table for my living room. Would highly recommend artemano!
I can't speak to all the negative reviews, but whatever problems Artemano had seem to be behind them now, at least at the Toronto location. My wife and I bought a bed last week just went in for a browse and happened to find one we both liked. The in-store service from Kerry was excellent - they had a promo going to include two free bedside tables up to $600 value but we couldn't find any to match with the bed, so she reduced the price of the bed by a comparable amount. Delivery was scheduled for the following Saturday. I received a call on Thursday asking if I could accept delivery today, Friday, a day EARLY. The two delivery guys were great - very quick, very careful, very polite. Got a call 20 minutes before they arrived to say they were on their way. In, the bed assembled, and out in about 15 minutes. Honestly, the whole experience from start to finish was a pleasure. Their stuff is great, so hopefully this indicates better days and reviews ahead.
My wife and I had been in to Artemano a few times when we found the perfect dining table and chairs. We ordered them on the spot and eagerly awaited for the set to arrive. Instead of the two weeks we were told, it took six weeks for the table to get to us. Much worse than that, the table had significant damage when it arrived. Amongst scrapes and scratches, the worst of it was a major gouge out of the top edge of the table that looked like the table had been dropped against a metal post. Artemano offered to replace the table with a new one. We found another that we liked almost as much as the first one we chose the plus and minus of the furniture is that each piece is unique. Three weeks later, the delivery arrived at our house. This time Artemano sent a different table than the one we chose. When I called to ask them to fix their mistake, they wouldn't even put me through to speak to the store manager. They did send us our second choice table quickly but it was a careless inconvenience and frustration. Bottom line - Artemano has nice stuff in the showroom but it's a complete roll of the dice on what will actually make it to your home, when it will arrive and what kind of condition it will be in when it gets there. They need to significantly improve their operations & customer service to match the quality of their furniture and their price point.
My husband and I recently purchased a couch and lamp from Artemano and, in all honesty, it has been the most positive furniture buying experience to date. Kerry, the assistant store manager, was beyond friendly and helpful. There were no pressure tactics involved and we are super happy with the quality of the furniture. We were stressing out about delivery times and some of the other stores had 6-8 week lead times on couches - Kerry was able to offer us a discount on a floor model and we had the couch delivered on time that same weekend.
I have bought four items from this location. The staff is extremely helpful. They have great furniture that will last a lifetime. People are consistently asking me where I brought the pieces from. Matt was very helpful and knowledgeable in educating me on how to take care of the wood after leaving the store.
Company is definitely going through some changes for the better, if you can get past the reviews of unsatisfied customers from when the company was previously owned, you'll be more than delighted not only with the eager sales people answering any question you have also the delivery time is so much better than it used to be under old management, I agree that was a mess but the furniture is BEAUTIFUL and well made, most of the furniture is one big solid piece you cant really go wrong. Wonderful store if you're looking for that magical art piece to set your space apart from others 5 Stars
Walked in one day as I drive past every day.. and I loved the furniture. The pricing is very reasonable pricing! Gorgeous designs for live edge tables. Highly recommend as well as a place to pick up accessories and gifts for friends or yourself if you need them. I will always be coming back to pick up house warming gifts for friends and family. You can't beat these amazing prices on the accessories WOW
If you buy from this store go into the store and buy off the showroom floor and load it up right away. Never order online or pay for something on back order as you will wait months for your stuff with no correspondence from them and no refunds is their store policy. Their website doesn't tell you that you will be waiting months for your order but gets you to pay and then you have to chase after them for a few months to get delivery so if you enjoy being aggravated this is the store for you. Their products are surprisingly good if you ever do get them which is very surprising based on how useless their service is.
