Arrowhead Camping Area

I worked for the original owners, Mr. & Mrs. Bull. I worked and stayed all summer long with Doug Bull, a cousin of the Bulls, and a fellow named Bob Ball. This was in the late 60's. The cousin and I bunked upstairs of the Lake House. Doug was a year older and he was the marching band leader and football player. We did strength and cardio training all summer while we worked. My parents were 'seasonals' and I helped(?) Mr. Bull with the building of his Canal town. Before I was sent overseas in the Army, my newly wedded wife and I honeymooned there for a few days. The Bulls were great people. My wife and visited their daughter Connie, in Paris. Great place to camp.

We had such a great time staying in the cabins! The office staff was friendly and helpful and the campgrounds were clean. The only downside was the state of disrepair in one of the cabins, duct tape on the screens, a giant screw sticking out of the A/C that didn't allow us to make any sort of adjustment, a five minute wait for hot water. We had fun, but it could be so much better.

I have been going to Arrowhead since I was like a week old .. This is an awesome experience because it's real camping. You can tent camp to a cabin and everything in between!
