Armando's Riverside

One of my favorite restaurant in Windsor. Nice, cozy and calm place for dine in. The quality of the foods are absolutely high. The price is a little high but it worth it. Staffs are respectful but not always as friendly as you might expect. The view of the restaurant is unique and peaceful. They also serve some local beers that I recommend.

Ask waitress whats better veal or chicken parm? She says chicken best not veal. Well...Chicken parm was rubber. So thin it was like eating burnt rubber with dried bread crumbs.. as you see totally disappointed. I did not eat it.They actually said if I want they will give me extra Chicken or noodles to take home. Lol. I said I'm not paying for this. So they charged for my dates dinner and the 2 drinkes we had so bad night and I had to go home and cook my own dinner. No sorry or what ever from this place.

Best Armando's location wise. Food was good as well as service. Plenty of Parking available. Will definitely visit soon.

Very nicely surprised. Noticed from social media that they had an outdoor patio facing the river and Belle Isle. We have gone to Armando's in the past for special events and it was good but it was pizza, pasta and salads. This location has a whole new level with delicious sophisticated entrees, appetizers and salads plus they still have Pizza. We were with our friends and decided to get each a different dish. Service was great, food was beautifully prepared, presented and tasty. We will definitely go back to try out other dishes in their menu. Give it a try you will like it.

My daughter loved her baby cheese and pepperoni pizza. Great customer service. First time there will plan to dine in next time.

Pizza took an hour to get here and was freezing cold. Called and the owner got lippy with me and started a fight after I was nice to him. I just wanted a credit on my account but apparently this guy has zero business sense. We used to go here all the time and spend tons on the patio, but this hot head lost a customer. Lost a $1000 per year customer for a $5 food cost pizza . Not surprising since Ive see him aggressively yelling at his employees in front of restaurant full of people on a few occasions. Trash. I suggest everyone check out the new Antonio’s at the corner of Wyandotte & Thompson for high quality pizza with reputable owners.

My two kids, my husband and I wanted to go for a birthday dinner. So I thought we choose this beautiful location. The second we walked in we did not feel very welcome our waitress was not very friendly at all. We had a couple questions about the Pizza and it seemed like we were really annoying her. terrible service we decided to get up and leave.

Myself and two friends had lunch yesterday and ordered the pasta special which was touted by the waitress. Although tasty enough, it was hard to find much meat or even vegetables; just large noodles in gravy. The price was astonishing at $35.00; we won’t be back. Kid-friendliness: Couldn’t see much on the menu. Parking: Parking is fine; ticked by mistake

We dined in. The food was great and our waitress was amazing. We look forward to going back Itsocated on River front. They have live music in the summer and a patio.
