Argyll Centre
Argyll Centre is a distributed learning school, offering students a variety of ways to learn across distance. Our programs include home education, where parents design the student’s program according to the Home Education Regulation, and a blended program that includes some teacher-led subjects and some parent-directed subjects. We also offer teacher-directed short-term instruction in the home. Another option we offer is LearnNet which give students a variety of resources and technologies to connect with teachers and peers through online and onsite programming. Parents work in partnership with the teacher where students enrolled in using LearnNet.
Argyll Centre also offers teacher-led programs for students with special needs and severe special needs, and the Caraway Program provides on-site, project-based learning for Kindergarten to Grade 9. In addition, high school students up to the age of 20 can take summer school through online. We serve students within Edmonton and across Alberta.
