Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar

I ordered the Parmesan steak (medium well) and shrimp. I asked for a substitution for one of the sides as a Cesar side salad. I was told it would be a $4 fee... Full price for a substitution... I could have added more shrimp to my steak for that price! I did not order the salad. My steak came out well done and really thin. I sent it back to the kitchen and received a very nice 3/4 inch thick perfectly cooked steak. Something is amiss here.

It is an Applebee's. Experiences range from cold food and understaffed service to excellent attention and acceptable food. The last time I was there, the bill was ambiguous, and I suspect I didn't get billed correctly on happy hour drinks. A paper version was unavailable, and I am still awaiting the emailed version (from a couple months ago). Overall, the staff is friendly and usually quite attentive (the exception would be during very busy times). I will visit again for the friendly staff and late night appetizers.

Great service until the manager yelled at us saying we don't know what medium rare steak looks like after sending it back four times. First it was well done then it came out still mooing then they microwaved it and it was well done once again and then came out still attached to the hoof. So yeah I don't recommend a place that can't make a simple medium rare steak

The worst food we have ever had any place. Eight of us celebrated our anniversary's and not one had a decent meal. Slop, will never eat there again.

very friendly and patient server (we had an indecisive 13-14 year old in our party of 4). Meals & dessert were delicious. Adult beverages were well made. Prices were good and on par with expectations.
