Very rude technical staff, basically called my partner and I a liar. My iPhone 13 case was peeling after 4 months, went into to have it replaced under warranty, the Genius Bar staff member said it wasn’t peeling enough to process a replacement, that if it was peeling around the back of the case they could replace it. So I said, “so if I peel the case around the back and come back you will replace it?” And they said yes. So I did, i then came back to the Apple Store a few months later and the Genius Bar technical staff said that it’s now too damaged to replace because there is now chunks of plastic missing. So first it’s not damaged enough, then it’s too damaged, either way they didn’t care at all and refused to replace it even though it is within the 1 year warranty. Won’t be buying any iPhone accessories through Apple again.
I was told that i should have made appointments for the new phone that i knew everything i needed to know about. I wanted to tap my card and leave as it was my moms birthday. Person at the door let me know that their appointments are all booked up for the day. I asked for a managerimage attached named Luigi and upon meeting him, he spent around 10 minutes explaining that their appointments are booked up for the day. Like grab a card reader hand me the product and bye instead of explaining the procedures for 10+minutes. It was intimidating to shop there for sure. Buying a car is much easier than buying a Apple phone without a doubt. Stock was not limited and store wasn't busy at all. Amir MVP ended up helping me with his amazing customer service and the process of the purchase took much less than the explanation the manager gave. Manager was helpful in the most pitiful tone, basically told me the reason I'm getting “lucky” to purchase without an appointment is because its my moms birthday and that i wouldn't be having this phone if it wasn't her birthday. I guess working in that toxic environment must be taking a toll on his employees. Employees are just following the policy and i made sure that i wasn't disrespectful towards any of them. I wish i was disrespectful towards the manager. I genuinely hope that intraction provided him with some sort of confidence boost and self assurance that he lacks in life because frankly i know he cant get it any other way. Ill be back for my dads birthday for a new iPhone. Sincerely, iPhone Karen
Terrible service. I came there to buy new iPhone, and I had a toddler with me. They had the iPhone I wanted in stock, and I literally asked if I can quickly pay for the new phone, grab the phone and walk away. The staff kept telling me I should make an appointment and the earliest available time was in an hour. This is ridiculous. If this store works by appointment only, then make it clear on your website and perhaps put a sign BY APPOINTMENT ONLY by your entrance. That way, potential customers wouldn’t waste their time.
Absolutely A+ service here, I got help from Ivan today and he's a gem. He kept calling my carrier for about 1 hour just to get me the best bargain from my carrier and made the whole process really smooth. Would definitely go back and visit the store again.
I got an appointment to repair my iPhone screen, the lady who help me check my internal phone from her computer and shows that the Face ID doesn’t work and will need to replace the sensor as well. I told her that when I was using the Face ID it still works, but blurry. She then showed me on her screen that my Face ID was X means not working. To fix my iPhone screen was $429 and Face ID sensor is $215, I hesitate and told her I’ll think about it. After an hour I came back and just requested to repair the broken screen, then she mentions about maybe I don’t need the Face ID could be just the screen. After 2 1/2 hours got my iPhone and did not need the Face ID sensor to be replace, Imagine if I said yes earlier I would pay $644 + tax for my iPhone. Will they be honest to let me know that I did not need it after the repair? This kind of up sell without really checking the hardware and internal makes a lot of people look for another aftermarket replacement.
Store was very busy in the afternoon! It was helpful having a customer service person at the front directing customers to where they need to go. My transaction, a refund, was completed quickly and efficiently after about a 10min or less wait.
They ripped me off by replaced my braided lightning cable with a standard cable of much less value. The genius wouldn’t even give me the socket the standard cable was packaged with! I don’t understand how this behaviour is allowed in Canada or by Apple themselves. They also made me wait over an hour for this genius to rip me off. I’m truly disgusted by the poor customer service from the Apple team.
Had someone helping us already just for them to tell us we need a separate appointment to purchase a phone. Was told our new appointment would be in 5 minutes but ended up sitting waiting for almost an hour to be helped. 1 hour wait just for the employee to sit down with terrible customer service, and to tell us that they don't have any in stock
It was a wonderful experience, thanks Haifa for explaining the features and for the lovely talk. Thanks for suggesting the gift for my son. Bought Apple Ultra Watch and ipad Air, he loved it. Liked their customer service!
I’m a loyal apple user, but yesterday I had the worst experience. Went to buy the iPad Pro yesterday around 4:20pm. I was told by the guy in the front to just directly wait at the order desk. I did what he told me, the guy at the order desk was very rude, and seems mad that I’m there. He kept asking who told you to come here. Seemed to be very annoyed. This is not how you treat a customer with a big purchase!
