Apple River Family Campground is a fun Family Oriented and Pet Friendly Campground in Somerset WI located on the Beautiful Apple River

Story

The Apple River Family Campground is a year round family focused pet friendly campground. The Campground sits on 60 heavily wooded acres with over 1/2 mile of River Frontage along the beautiful Apple River. We offer campsites that cater to all types of campers. Our sites accommodate tents to big rig pull throughs with water and electric hookups available. We also have heated/air conditioned Cabins for those looking to camp in style!

The campground is a great place to hold events like graduation parties, weddings, family & school reunions, and corporate events. There are staff on site to aid in planning and large groups always receive camping discounts.

We do not charge any hidden fees like parking and trash clean-up. Being run by families we know how hidden fees can take away from the fun.

Staff is very friendly and accomodating. Fun campground with great amenities. My concern is the family friendliness of it. Quiet hours need to be enforced more strictly. Also do not get a river site on the weekend unless you enjoy music into the wee hours because the campground across the river plays obnoxious loud music until 2 am. We got a river site to enjoy the sound of nature not listen to Toby Keith at midnight!

Won't be back!!!!! The place has fallen into disrepair. We have camped here several times. Over the last few years the upper pool has been closed for "repair". Bathhouse has broken and closed showers and toilets. They charge $1 for a shower and it makes one wonder what they do with the money. It certainly isn't for keeping up the bathhouse. They were not cleaned for days over the holiday weekend and got pretty gross. The owners have become rude and short. It's really too bad. It is a great layout and it really wouldn't take much effort.

We got a riverfront campsite with electric and water hook ups. It was awesome! It was nice and quiet at the end where we were. I was worried because of the bar across the river but they hardly made any noise at all. Would definetly return ... most likely early in the summer season to avoid tubers and preserve the view of the river. Pools are clean, playground is good, and the staff are nice.

This place has a decent disc golf course. It's only 9 holes but at least they have one. They are not over-the-top on enforcing rules but all in all a nice place to come visit. We'll come back here again for sure!

To be right outside a big venue we got all the glammer of summerset without the crowds and pressures of load music all over eevry second of every day. Quite hrs were sortof listened to but what can u expect for a music fetival. All and all clean and we'll kept.
