Great place to stop and have a quick bite. We had breakfast and it was delicious. Good food, amazing service. If we travel this way again we will have to stop here!!!

This was a difficult place to stomach. On appearance only, they'd get close to 5. But overall, the food was not good. The staff was pretty much non existent. No refills the entire time and we had to remind him to take our drink order when he came to take our food order. Clam chowder was "grainy". It tasted like someone forgot to stir in the flour. Fried scallops literally squirted when bit into. Not oil, but water. Red snapper tasted fishy. Mashed potatoes were great.

We had lunch at the Crescent City Apple Peddler on 8/9/2017. We had over a 30 minute wait for our food. The lettuce for the burger had not been washed as evidenced by the chunks of mud on the leaf. They missed the fried onions all together. The waitress was nice, but the back of the restaurant is clearly not being managed well. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant.

Expansive menu with choices for everyone. They were out of everything I tried to originally order (salmon, baked potato, blackberry cobbler). However, everything I wound up getting was quite good. All of our party (6) were happy with their meals. Servers were attentive and friendly. If I were in the area again I would happily eat at the Apple Peddler once more.

Being the second Apple Peddler restaurant I've eaten at this month, I think this one has had a nicer experience overall. We arrived minutes before opening, but didn't have to wait long. Despite them needing to fire up grills and stoves, we had our breakfast in a flash (the Apple Peddler's Toast dish and the chicken fried steak are excellent choices), coffee was served with a choice between half and half, and French vanilla coffee creamers, and service was very kind to us all. I don't expect I'll be back on the 101 anytime soon, but if I am, I'll know to come back here again.
