28oct Nice cool ~50s_F late p.m. walk of the Ann Lee Pond Preserve .. The Trail going around the Pond was in good walking condition whereas the Loop below the Pond traversed over many muddy sections .. Didn't see any one on the Trail. Lots of peace and quiet :
Another beautiful nature trail tucked in Upstate NY, especially nearing peak fall leaf change. This is a nice and quiet spot near the Albany Airport. There is a nice trail for biking, walking and bird watching. There are also picnic tables for a nice sit down. Worth checking out.
Brought my kids for a nice nature walk. They loved the bridge that goes over the pond. Fishing has been pretty active the first few times I have been there.
Great place to walk but three stars for lack of good fishing. Nice place to eat and see nature. Beautiful views.
This site is a very interesting historical look into Shaker history and includes beautiful nature trails around the old mill pond now called Ann Lee Pond.
Lots of little side trails....we didn't get lost at all...lots of fun
I love the hiking trails and biking trails that this place has. There are also many geese and other birds that swim in the pond.
It is a very peaceful Nature and historical site, with fun trails for long walks and you don’t have to worry about getting lost. The most exciting part of this site is the walking bridge on the pond.
Nice park to bring your dogs. Nice pond, and feels like your in the middle of the woods once past the bridge. Be sure to bring bug spray though, the water plus the shade makes for alot of gnats and mosquitos after april.
Beautiful space to enjoy a last quick walk in nature before getting on an airplane. Mosquitoes were an issue but only if you stop moving/walking.
