Tried to special order 3 gundam models, and paid for everything in full. Was told it would take 3 weeks to arrive. Did not hear anything back for months. The store was extremely hard to get in contact with via store, phone, and facebook messages. When got in contact, was told the shipment was delayed, or other issues. More than 7 months later, was refunded the money. Very bad experience and was not able to get gundam models.
Not sure what people mean by hes not super talkative. I asked for a bit of help and yeah he didn't give me a super long answer, which is what i prefer, but he answered my question, which is just what I need. Will definitely go back to buy more Gundam next time!
So I reluctantly head to this store because it's crowded with model merchandise and the clerk is sitting behind the counter. I don't want to walk in and get eyeballed as a window shopper, so I finally decide to walk in and wow! It's so welcoming inside and there was no pressure to buy anything. The clerk was super awesome and very helpful. I spent a good 45 minutes deciding on what to purchase and just going through all the merchandise I could. You see, this kind of hobby demands patience and great purchase decision making. I felt after 2 minutes in the store that the clerk understood that and he just allows you to take your time and browse the product, also he knows that not all of the merchandise is for everyone, this kind of model hobby has a certain fan base and certain people like certain types of these robot models and not all of them are going to make you happy. Point is that this is the best model store in Calgary and it's worth the time to check it out. Now the prices are the best part, I could not believe that these things were so reasonably priced at this store, particularly because if you shop for this product online it's triple the cost after shipping, sigh if only I would have known this place was right here in my own city's backyard 2 months ago, oh well what's done is done. Anyways visit this store if your a Gundam fan you will not be dissapointed. 5 STARS PROS - CLERK WAS SUPER HELPFUL AND ALL AROUND NICE GUY - EXCELLENT PRICES - STORE HOURS ARE PERFECT - LOCATION SEEMS VERY SECRET CONS - TOO CROWDED - NOT ENOUGH SPACE FOR ALL THE AVAILABLE PRODUCT OR TO WALK AROUND IN. - LOCATION SEEMS VERY SECRET - AAARRRGG THE PRODUCT I WAS AFTER IS NOT IN STORE!! But will be soon enough lol
What the...? Called this store today and the first time someone picked up the phone and hung it up in my ear, so I called again in case it was an accident. It apparently wasn't. I don't need anything they sell that bad.
Im from edmonton but this place is my go to store for gundams. Never missed a visit everytime i go to calgary. Highly recommended!
Awesome service . i stopped in while they were going through a location change same mall diffrent store and still got what i needed . best prices in the city from what i know of .
The best place to buy Bandai models in Calgary.
He had no interest in talking to me, ignoring my questions.
