Animales Barbeque

After researching the top Mpls BBQ places we decided on Animales. It did not disappoint! The pork belly was melt in your mouth and the ribs were meaty with a nice dry brine. Definitely get the chive/cheese/ corn muffins.... loaded with flavor. Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing, friendly and delicious. Love eating here and will always throw this in the hat when talking of places to go eat. The sampler platter has everything two people need and the chili has the perfect amount of kick. Worth every penny.

Superb barbecue, but the sleeper hits are their fried cheese and beef birria tacos and their summer Thursday burgers.

Quick and delicious. We got the sampler platter and biscuit, and everything on it was amazing. Great value for the quality and quantity. The platter was more than enough food for us two adults.

Absolutely amazing BBQ. They have so many flavors - spicy, sweet, tangy, sour, smoky - and lots of different specials to try. We love going here because it changes from week to week and it makes us try new things! Our favs are the beef cheek biscuits and gravy, ribs, & meatballs, but honestly everything is great.

I'm going poor eating here and have no intention of stopping. Having the best BBQ in the upper Midwest a couple blocks from home is a double-edged, chubby chubby sword. And for some reason the only recent photo I have is their amazing burger special...
