My husband & I were vacationing nearby and thought we'd stop in for dinner on a Friday night. We asked to be seated outside as it was a beautiful weather and right on the river. They also had a live band which was very cool. I had the fried cod and it was very good. My husband had brats and he said they were tasty too. The atmosphere was very laid back and friendly. I highly recommend The Anchor Inn!

I like the place for the atmosphere. Nice patio area, and nice bar inside. Their food is usually good, but their wings....are terrible. The lady manager there is very curt, and not a friendly personality at all. A smile goes a long way in customer service. Place is run by negligent kids that take forever to get you a drink.

Went there for a Shotgun Jane show and the place was packed by the time we got there. Outside bar was easy to get drinks at considering how many people were there. Inside was a little harder as the bar itself was packed. I did manage to flag down a server when our glasses were empty. There were plenty running around unlike other places I've been to. Great tap and bottled beer selection inside. Didn't try the food but it looked good. We'll definitely be back.

It's a good place. Unremarkable food. Great staff. Rebuilt after a fire, this is a nice facility. I did like the old Anchor Inn better though - it was kind of campy & wild. Not so much anymore.

Went there today after not being there for a while and the entire menu has changed to a primarily burger heavy menu. Condensed because it's a holiday weekend? Maybe. Was a little disappointed in what they had to offer considering the old menu had more variety which did consist of excellent food. Atmosphere is always enjoyable, not sure about the $6 Stella's. Good beer but not that good. Bloody Mary is excellent.
