Prime Quarter Steak House

My favorite steak house ever!!!! You pick out your own steak while grilling it together around a huge custom built-in grill. You can have your drinks and socialize while grilling around the warm orange embers. There's an intentional wide brick edge around the whole grill to lean on and laugh with friends. Gallon cans filled with melted butter and a paint brush are all around the grill with unlimited Texas toast to grill. Unlimited really nice salad bar AND baked potatoes. For an extra cost they can grill your steak for you. (But why?) You can pay for an extra plate and split your steak with your friend and they get the unlimited access to the salad bar, baked potatoes and Texas toast too!

2 adults 3 kids. The food was pretty good You basically get what they have for steak. But for 5 people it's easily a $100 It was a very busy night when we were there it took a little time for the waitress to get around to us. We ended up waiting for a table for an hour.

If you in the Janesville area and looking to go out for a steak dinner weather you're dining for two or group Prime Quarter Steak is the place to go,booking reservation is highly recommended. Prime Quarter Steak has the finest cut steaks ready for you to self grill on there open grills,they have courteous staff on hand to assist if needed. Prime Quarters also have a large bar with many drinks to choose from, it's a vibrant place to go for the evening.

I would've rated five stars but, we were there toward the end of the night and the grill seemed low on coals. Small strip through the middle and bigger piles on the ends. The end piles that were giving good heat were hogged by the staff chefs. Needless to say it took forever for us to cook our steaks. Other than that the service was good.

We drive 40 minutes to get here. It is a great experience, service is almost always great, and the food delicious. Highly recommend!!!
