The chicken panini with a matcha cookie is my go to order whenever my work orders in! Everything we order is always super delicious! I’ll have to stop in sometime.
Anchor is a beautiful coffee house in Windsor, Ontario. Plenty of coffee options, amazing pastries, and breakfast sandwiches. The Americano was bold, very refreshing. Very soothing and relaxing atmosphere inside and some nice tables setup outside as well. Friendly staff, very welcoming, overall a great coffee stop.
Stopped into this bustling little café for a bite and some coffees after Art in the Park. The staff were warm and welcoming, the service was quick, and the atmosphere had a relaxed, friendly vibe. I had a gluten-free bagel and was pleasantly surprised to be offered a choice between jalapeño and sesame - a thoughtful touch that isn’t always common with gluten-free options. Everything hit the spot, and it was the perfect place to unwind after a busy morning. Will definitely be back!
Staff were very friendly and outgoing. Ordering was easy and the menu has lots of good options. The matcha tea I ordered was fantastic and my wife loved the raspberry scone.
Anchor Coffee House is exactly what you want out of a local coffee shop. with a warm atmosphere on a snowy day, amazing bake goods, great homecooked food and amazing coffee.nI wanted to write the review because I was given a coffee that didn't taste right to me, and when I brought it up to the barista she poured me an americano as a replacement at no extra charge. there was no pushback and she just took my word for it. that attention to customer satisfaction made me feel really welcomed and despite it being a short drive away not in walking distance to me I will be coming back time and time again.nnMy only complaint is the chairs are a little uncomfortable. but everything else about anchor coffee makes me want to keep coming back.
