Americana Conference Resort Spa & Waterpark

We had such an amazing stay at the Americana Hotel! We traveled as a big group — 8 adults and 11 kids — and booked 4 rooms. Every single room was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of.nnThe water park was fantastic and such a hit with the kids and honestly the adults too!. It was clean, fun, and made the whole trip extra special.nnA huge shoutout to everyone at the front desk — they were all so friendly and incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived. Special mention to Jen, the Front Desk Supervisor, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. She made everything smooth and stress-free for our large group and really made us feel welcomed and valued.nnWe would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it, especially for families and larger groups!

The resort and the check-in staff on Saturday were wonderful, and we had a great first day. The waterpark was a big hit with our two toddlers and they absolutely loved it.nOn Sunday morning, however, our experience was very different. We went to the front desk to ask if we could pay for a two-hour late checkout. The waterpark doesn’t open until 10 a.m. and checkout is at 11 a.m., so we were hoping to have breakfast and let the kids swim for about an hour before leaving.nUnfortunately, the lady at the desk was very unfriendly and abruptly told us there were no late checkouts available. The way it was said felt quite rude. Because of this, we didn’t get to use the waterpark at all on Sunday, which was really disappointing for the kids since they had enjoyed it so much the day before.nWhen I booked, we were told the waterpark could be used both days, so this was frustrating. While the Saturday check-in staff were excellent and welcoming, the interaction Sunday morning left us feeling disappointed. This Hotel is a gem.nPerfect location - with a family you are close to the falls and far enough to eliminate the noise once back to your down time.n- This place is very tranquil and peaceful insidennThere is water park / arcade , restaurant in hotel and aroundnnThis hotel was not known to us - but is now our one and only destination . This is because the moment we stepped in the Leslie and Robert at the check in made sure we know the whole hotel in just a minutes with pure joy.nTheir joy of introducing the stay hotel for us made us feel safe and comfortable.nThey give this place a resort feel - amazing !nnPlace is beautiful, clean and perfect for fun , safe relaxing timenEnjoy this find

Great Value & Family Fun, but Customer Service Needs WorknnnWe stayed at the Americana Conference Resort in mid-January with our family to celebrate our child’s birthday. The main reason we chose this resort was the amazing BOGO deal buy one night, get one free, which made it incredibly affordable. We booked one basic room for three days and two nights. After adding resort fees and parking, the total came to around $150 CAD for the entire stay—yes, just $150 for two nights! For the price, it was an incredible deal.nnThe Good:nn· Room: Even the most basic room was spacious and clean. We had two queen beds, a desk, and the room felt recently renovated and comfortable.n· Water Park: It’s not as big as Great Wolf Lodge, but it was perfect for our kids. There are three pools, a few slides including a longer one for bigger kids/adults, floaties available, and a splash area for toddlers. Towels were provided, and there’s also an arcade nearby for some extra fun.n· Location: Super convenient! Close to the highway, an outlet mall, and plenty of restaurants. There’s even a Freshco next door, so we grabbed a case of water there to use during our stay.n· Parking: We were impressed with how quickly the parking lot was cleared after a snowstorm. The lot is also very close to the rooms, and there are luggage carts available at the entrance—made moving in and out super easy.n· Proximity to Water Park: Our room was just a few doors away from the water park entrance—so convenient, especially with kids!nnThe Not-So-Good:nn· Coffee Maker: The in-room coffee maker was dirty, no matter how many times we tried to clean it. If you're planning to boil water for kids' bottles or drinks, I'd recommend avoiding it.n· Customer Service: We requested a late checkout from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the front desk and were told it would be noted in the system. However, the next morning at 11 a.m., housekeeping knocked on our door and gave my wife a hard time, insisting we had to leave. We had to explain the situation and describe the front desk staff who helped us before they finally backed off.n· No Follow-Up: When we brought this up at checkout, the front desk staff said they’d inform the manager and follow up with us. To this day we stayed in mid-January, no one has reached out to apologize or explain what happened. A simple acknowledgment or apology would’ve gone a long way.nnOverall, the resort is great for families on a budget, especially with the BOGO deal. But the lack of communication and follow-through on customer service issues is something they really need to improve.

Had a good time with the family . Room Was big , clean and organized. Water park was fun and my son enjoyed himself. Would of given a 5 star had my truck not been broken into while we were there.. dint lose much but change food ect.. they messed up the truck tho.. unbuckled our babyseat and went threw our truck bed. Aside from the unfortunate set back we were happy with the place and its staff.. we will go again..
