Stopped by for quick bite during the day, place was kind of loud and busy, but we didn't mind it. Started with fried oysters and we were stunned! Very pleasent surprise, such freshness and softness, we couldn't stop eating it. I tried many oysters in life, usually not fried, but this one was one of a kind! Couldn't decide what we should have for entree, so we ordered smokehouse platter to share and to try a bit of everything. There was quite some meat, and we had more than enough. I liked pulled pork most, brisket was dry and not as tender as it should be, but everything was tasty and enjoyable, very affordable place.
I didn’t know The Grill was it’s own standalone restaurant until last week. I always thought it was the cafe attached to Libbie Market. They’ve got some pretty decent food options. I love how there are tv’s set up around the multiple areas for everyone to enjoy some entertainment. It can get pretty chilly here, definitely bring a jacket. I’d recommend the chicken tenders, the steak quesadilla, and the peanut butter pie.
Nice place outside patio on Patterson Ave. Great lunch specials in and out quickly but can also have a leisurely meal. Had a delicious Spinach salad excellent price and super filling and healthy. Definitely worth a visit!
Nice sports bar kind of place. The food was good and staff was very nice & attentive. Gave 3 stars because of back alley parking kind of creeped me out. Chicken wings were kind of fatty.
Once again this restaurant was absolutely fantastic! I had an amazing time and received the best service. Thank you so much for being one of my favorite places to dine!Food: 5/5
We stopped in for an appetizer lunch. I'd give it a solid 3. The shrimp was very nicely done. Not too much seasoning. The calamari, very nicely breaded and really, really tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. The Greek Nachos really showed potential. We had the brisket with it for a protein. The brisket was tough and chewy. Given the quality of the 1st 2 appetizers in this visit, I'd give the Greek Nachos another chance. Service was really good, not over attentive but there when you needed them. They did comp us the nachos as we only ate some of them, so again, that definitely falls into the plus column. I'd say, give a whirl!
Best French toast I ever had. My 2pm breakfast was just amazing. Parking: Right in front of building was fine for me
Favorite brunch spot on this side of the river. Opens early for all those american football needs to include the ones across the pound. They also have those early footie matches on too. Such a great space with tons of options and great beverage. So many friendly faces and warm service.
Absolute worst waiting system I've ever seen. We arrived and were told 15-20 minutes for a table on the patio with a dog. We watch more groups come in and then are told we had to wait longer since our host messed up the waitlist and didn't put our name in. Well, we ended up waiting over an hour in the pouring rain, getting absolutely soaked, because at least 3 groups coming in after us were just walking up and grabbing the tables like it was first come first serve. The host told us they'd free up a table for us and never did, we basically had to just fight for our own table after being the last group outside for over an hour. Will never come here again, there is no organization when it comes to seating.
First time but definitely not my last. Had a wonderful breakfast and a chance to visit with U of R friends. Perfect! Pancakes were outstanding! Thank you.Food: 5/5
