One of the best cheese pizzas I've had in VT. Slightly sweet sauce with quality mozzarell. Not greasy and perfectly cooked. The house salad was decent. The Maple Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing was delicious. Service was excellent.
Just picked up a cheese salad for 9.80 and got home with it. Tomatoes were spoiled which ruined whole salad and i had like 10 pieces of cheese on top of it. It was mostly lettuce and black olives, very disappointed.
Stopped on after hiking Camel's Hump. It was busy but the server/bartender was on top of it all shout out to him. I got a plate of nachos with chili that was top notch. Tons of real cheese covering up a generous amount of chili and chips. My daughter had a fantastic meatball calzone enough for two easily. My other kids didn't love the style of the chicken fingers...but that was the only complaint and as someone who doesn't order chicken fingers, I'm not letting impact my rating LOL. They had college football on a bunch of screens, tons of beer on tap, and a very laid back vibe. Great place!
Pizza is always good, and the beer is always cold. Unfortunately there was only one person running the entire restaurant, bar and answering all incoming calls, but she did a great job. Parking: Parking is tight, especially for larger vehicles
We stopped in for sandwiches to go...this thing is amazing! Not cheap on the ingredients, this sandwich was huge and delicious. The bread is chewy and perfectly toasted. I highly recommend them!
Real food & drink for real people. A welcome retreat from the six million other places with a squirrel-sized serving of food for $20 with some poorly balanced double-quadruple-fruit-loops-IPA.
This place has the best marinara sauce I have ever had and I live in New York City
Ordered a pizza for pick up / take out on 1/16/22. It was a great pizza BUT when I went inside to pick it up I was shocked to see that no one working was wearing a mask ! On the very weekend that Vermont was supposed to peak in covid cases . Sorry but that shows bad judgement to me and I doubt Ill be ordering from them again. Too bad as the pizza was good.
Restuarant happy to make modifications to menu...build your own grinder. I had noticed that other establishments in the area less flexible about this. It could be to online ordering constraints. Either way...McKee pizza provided outstanding customer care...and food was surprisingly better than the norm. Large portion and fresh vegetables. Enjoyed a turkey and ham grinder..with salad.
My initial review was 4 stars and had to update and edit to 5... This place rocks! It's the perfect local restaurant. It's a warm and friendly place and the food is amazing... especially after a hot day on the lake. What more can you ask for? We're regulars and our favorites are the spinach dip and the subs... The bread is incredible and the sandwiches are HUGE. The wings and pizza are also great. Definitely worth the visit and the price-we've never been disappointed. I'd recommend them any day!
