The location is perfect and super cozy. The pizza is excellent and the service is very friendly. Their latte and matcha are also to die for. I had the lime tart but it wasn’t as fresh as I would’ve expected from trying the rest of their menu.
So glad AMEA opened! The café Montreal has been needing. Everything on the menu is so delicious, I’ve been multiple times already & I can’t get enough. Their Avo toasts & mochas are 10/10 can’t forget to mention the incredible location & ambiance. This place is definitely going to be a hit in the city
I wanted to love this place and had very high expectations from the good reviews and all the hype but it's not really worth it. Maybe the concept is good but the lack of planning and logistics are a disaster. They should enable the reservation because the service is disastrous. Almost an hour in line to sign up for a waiting list, after signing up for the waiting list you have to wait between 30 minutes and 1 hour, they send you a text message, then they take you to a table but they don't tell you that you have to make another line to order food and on top of it, the drinks are ordered at another counter and you also have to make a huge line and wait another hour to have a coffee. The experience was a disaster, I had my food ready and my coffee took almost 40 min, actually it was never ready, I had to go and the barista was super rude and told me that it wasn't his problem and that I had to keep waiting, it was a simple American coffee. Finally the cashier was the one who helped me to speed up and when they gave me my coffee with milk on the side, there were no trays or staff to help me take it to the table. I don't recommend it, the food is ok but nothing special, everything is very normal, as if you were going to put up with long waits and lousy service.
It’s so delicious! Amazing service and great quality food. The atmosphere is open and fresh. A must try spot downtown! I had the burrata anchois, very yummy!
My wife dragged me to this place after all the hype around the Supreme Croissant. In my opinion, from a foodie’s point of view, it is “not worth it”, from a TikTok and Instagram’r point of view it is a safe heaven for a potential 30 sec of fame in the social media platforms. I saw tons of people taking pictures but not a lot of people with finished plates. Anyone claiming this cafe is the best in Canada or in Montreal is not a foodie and i doubt tried the many awesome bakeries and cafe around Montreal. The Brunch menu is lacklustre and the baked goods are okay-ish. I do have to give credit where credit is due, and admit the Supreme Croissant is something different that I never tried. Since they are one of the only one’s at this point of time, I have to say they have the best one. However, things are extremely pricey so proceed with caution. The vibe was nice and the interior of the dinning hall was pretty. That is the only thing that made me provide a 2 star. Go for the pictures not for the food.
This is a bittersweet review because I want to praise how great this cafe is for lunch but at the same time I don't want the line up to get longer and longer! The pizzas are tasty, I particularly like the pancetta and potato pizza with their homemade hot pepper garnish. Their pastry / dessert selections are great also. The rashberry and pistachio croissant and the pistachio roll croissant have the perfect bake. Buttery crunch outside, sweet tangy rashberry jam, and creamy pistachio filling. Highly recommended.
Excellent food and ambience. Everything about this cafe is lovely, artsy and most importantly, the food and coffee is superb. If you are in the area, you must check it out, for sure you will love it here!!
Very cute space, there’s a lot of seating so a great place to chat and work for hours. The customer service was very prompt and friendly. I got the tiramisu and cappuccino. The tiramisu was one of the best I’ve ever had! Definitely give that a try.
A beautiful, modern bakery that still keeps that Italian style flare. The coffee is great, and the food is insane! We wanted to try a bit of everything, and honestly, you can't go wrong with what you choose. Chef Mike has been absolutely nailing the menu And the brownie cookie... oh my word, definitely a must! Thank you for the wonderful experience, we'll be back soon ;
Love love love, delicious food, you have to try the avocado toast and the matcha Gets really busy around 1 pm Great ambience and really cute esthetic
