Yummy food, excellent service in an intimate Italian atmosphere. Traditional Italian music in background is perfect volume, soft enough to converse. Must try the wood-oven pizza and end the meal with in-house tiramisu and cappuccino. Definitely recommend!
Wow. Awesome pizza, authentic neapolitan food. Nice staff. Had to wait long for my pizza due to a large group of people ordering right before me, got a free glass of beer. Thanks, keep it up
My boyfriend and I were looking for an authentic pizza place before taking our trip to Italy last summer. He found this place and we went one night, we are regulars now. Service is not the greatest not even close to the worst I've had but the food makes up for any faults. The decor inside is adorable and cozy and the buffala pizza is mouth-watering. Everything I have eaten here is fantastic. Having one of the best pizzas outside of Italy and having an amazing latte or espresso after is an enjoyable experience every time I go.
The pizza is amazing. The dough is perfect and toppings fresh and full of flavors. You have to try the salmon pizza served for brunch on Saturdays, the Margarita is fabulous as well another I tried topped with squash and cheese, you have got to try it to believe how great it is. Now their coffee. It is strong and goes down like silk no bitter taste. The restaurant is classy, very affordable, service is great and you feel like you are experiencing a piece of Italy during your stay.
Good flavours, nice pizza, but don't bother with the seafood pasta. Most things are overcooked the mussels, squid and shrimp and the pasta is barely an appetizer size. The sauce was tasty, with hints of parsley and garlic, but scarce. I can understand if it was made of truffles but it was not. Their vegetable parmigianna was very tasty and gracefully presented. Their fake outdoorsy ceiling does not create a suspension of belief, but their attempt of a patio in Italy has some charm.
Authentic Neapolitan style pizza downtown. Neapolitan pizza is extra thin soft and chewy, not crispy like Roman style so it may not be for everyone. The flavor of the dough is what sets it apart. It's a nice place and very affordable. Service is excellent. They even have a $9 pizza for those on a budget.
We have been searching for good pizza downtown for ages. We have finally found it. And it has more than good pizza, it has a very small but appropriate wine list and outstanding ricotta gnocchi as well, all at an extremely reasonable price. As I was waiting for my date, I had the best Prosecco I've ever tried yet. The fried calamari had a light breading but were unfortunately a tad over-cooked. The egg plant appetizer was perfectly cooked, served in a great, sweet tomato sauce and I particularly enjoyed the fact that it was not breaded as it usually is. We had vegetarian pizza: the thin dough did not hold up in hand as it should, but the pizza was neither overly saucy nor dry. The ricotta spinach gnocchi were fluffy and the porccini sauce was creamy. I wished I'd had space for dessert! The restaurant is simply decorated, spacious and most enjoyable. The service was good and friendly. We hope it will do well if only it can get the pizza right.
I am a picky eater I tried the veggie pizza it was very flavourful. The crust was very crispy outside and soft and spongy inside. The crust seems to be thick but it is very spongy and light. . Good service. If you're in the area and want a bit more quite place and feel like having a pizza, then this is for you.
What a wonderful discovery! It's a disguised Italian piazza inside a downtown building. It felt like being back home. The pizza was great: real tomato sauce, mozzarella and perfect southern pizza dough. Five stars to the service too and the taste of a short espresso was "the cherry on the pie" as Italians would say.
Nice place, amazing ambience. Portions were not that big bit it was delicious
