Alpine Inn is in the center of the “forever wild” Catskill Forest Preserve in Oliverea, NY. We’re a destination for those who love the outdoors.

Story

Alpine Inn is beautifully situated on a hillside overlooking the valley, surrounded by tall pines, woods and streams 5 miles down the road from Slide Mountain, the highest Catskill peak and 4 miles away from any highway. Only three hours north of metropolitan New York, but world’s away from noise and workday pressures, you’ll find our special country inn.

We have twenty-five first class, warm, welcoming and especially clean rooms in chalet style buildings reflecting our Swiss German heritage. A country dining room in which we serve caringly prepared distinguished fare - fresh, flavorful and abundant. A spacious, inviting lounge - naturally with the requisite fireplace to warm frosty toes.

Alpine Inn caters to individuals, families and many groups and organizations. Although the emphasis is on the outdoors, we have our share of escapists as well - those who value beautiful scenery, tranquil days and memorable meals.
