Catskill Seasons Inn

Newly remodeled, quiet, quaint, and clean, it’s pretty hard to beat the Catskill Seasons Inn for a quick, and pleasant stay. The layout of the place is charmingly eccentric, though a bit confusing. Check-in is in the restaurant, so don’t look for a standard issue lobby. The staff was friendly, and accommodating. We got there late so dinner (while tempting) was out of the question, but breakfast the next morning was simple and very satisfying. Some quibbles; the room was quite small, and the TV smaller. The bed, advertised as a Queen, was a Full and I could practically touch every wall from the edge of the bed. While the close quarters would make it tough to spend more than a couple of nights here, The Catskill Seasons Inn is, if not a gem, then at least a lovely semi-precious stone. After all, amethyst is beautiful too.

This was a totally random, last minute booking. Decided to stay in and dine after visiting Woodstock instead of search for a place to go out. Wise choice! We were greeted by a friendly staff upon our arrival & had the pleasure of meeting the new owners (& their wonderful family) who treated us warmly & like we were the only guests. Had an amazing gourmet meal by a crackling fire with my lovely wife. A great last minute getaway for us. Good luck to the new owners of this hidden gem nestled in the Catskills. Keep up the good work & hopefully we’ll be back soon for a return visit.

The food was excellent. The room was clean. The views are spectacular. It is located near hiking trails. The owner and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

David was phenomenal. Very helpful and friendly. The room was very large and clean. Will absolutely stay here again next time I'm in the area.

We went 6 months ago and it was great. However, the recent experience was not as good. We ordered entrees, but was not told that it comes with a house salad so we ordered extra appetizers and it was only after we finished the apps that we were asked if we still wanted the house salad. They ran out of apples, shrimp and clams on their busy weekend, but we ate on Saturday so not sure when the weekend actually started and there are stores nearby so not sure why they couldn't send someone to purchase items. The eggplant pharm was a huge serving compared to last visit, but it didn't taste as good. The seasoned scallops were tasty as well as the pasta with pancetta. The new management seemed friendly, but the server could be friendlier when there are maybe 3 tables she has to serve.
