Welcome
When we married in 1986, our dream was to have an Inn. A year later we put down roots in Mount Tremper when we fell in love with a 1940's era tavern, which had a huge bar, a 50 seat restaurant and some land. We planted fruit & vegetable gardens, built a brick courtyard, an upstairs apartment, added flower gardens, a greenhouse, and frog pond.

In 2007, we ventured into lodging by converting the entire tavern into a four room Inn with an intimate 26 seat dining room and later put in a three season heated salt water pool.
The rooms are simple stylish spaces mindful of comfort and privacy with modern amenities. Though we are not a B&B, we stock the rooms with delicious house baked scones, seasonal fruit, coffee, tea and cocoa as an in-room breakfast. And It is not uncommon to find afternoon treats.

We are hands-on chefs engaged in thoughtful cooking, committed to using best ingredients, including harvest from our organic kitchen garden and are passionate about executing classic techniques to create a spirited and seasonally driven menu. Most everything is locally sourced so home-made tastes really good. And the dining room is lovely.

Being green comes naturally in the Catskills, we use eco-friendly cleaning products, recycle & compost.

Located in the high peaks, which boasts thousands of acres of forever wild protected lands: it is a haven for hiking, kayaking, biking, fishing, snowshoeing, downhill & cross country skiing and is close to historical sites and festivals. The Mount Tremper fire tower trail is a perennial favorite as is shopping in the Towns of Woodstock & Phoenicia.
