A nice campground, with a limited number of sites. The sites are decent sized, and there's a pavilion, playground, and volleyball court next to the campground, with plenty of green space for your own games or to let the kids run around. Cost is fair considering you get electric and water hookup. One word of caution, make sure you use a water filter here, as the well water (or wherever it's coming from) smells horrible. As another person mentioned, it's a small park with not much to see, but there is river access close by, and the town of Henderson has a lot of town activities if you do your research before staying here.

It's a nice park for a day or two. Not much there though. No amenities. No lake. No community building. Bring your own entertainment. I would stay there again if I had to.

Great place to camp, but fills up quickly on holiday weekends

This is literally the park across the street from my grandparent's home. And even though it is a small park with a 14 sites. It is the best small town camping you're going to find. The people in town are great. Everything in Henderson is in walking distance. I recommend getting a cone at the corner drug store or some dinner at the Henderson Haus.
