I'd heard a lot about Alida's Bakery and staying pretty close to the area, I just had to visit this asap! It's the smell of freshly baked bread that wafts through that sets the tone for me. We got there at almost closing time, but I saw that they were still baking, which was truly a good feeling! I mainly wanted to try their Baklava, Coconut Honey cake and buy a loaf of naan/pita. But I ended getting Manakish and Kunefe as well. The baklava wasn't like anything I've had before. It was so crispy and fresh and stuffed to the brim. Heaven! It was my first time trying Kunefe, made with cheese and vermicelli crisp tops. It was really interesting. The Manakish is usually available in different flavors. They had jalapeno, tomato, zatar available. I got the zatar. The pita was extremely soft and tender. However it was a wee bit too much seasoning for my liking. I will definitely go back for the best baklava ever and the honey coconut cake of course!!
I cannot stress how amazing this little bakery is! You can tell how much love they have for the community and how much the community loves them back. The customer service was so inviting and friendly. I was offered a sample of their baklava and it was delicious! The bread is amazingly fresh and so fluffy. Coming from the Metro Detroit area, I’ve never seen anything like this in the Seattle area! The beef manakish hit the spot and was spiced well. I’m happy I was able to finally stop by and try this out, definitely will make an effort to stop by again when I need more pita and to try their other sweets!
Everything was so tasty! I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality across the board, with great flavors, great customer service, and reasonable prices as well as authentic baked goods that remind me of my culture.
This bakery is well worth the drive to Everett Mall area, The dessert weekend fare is superb. The basic breads are authentic, and hearty. The owner is sensitive to community and cares for the needy.
Landed at this place after a random Google search for a middle eastern bakery in the Seattle area. The place was phenomenal on every aspect; friendly customer service, clean and space well used, and most importantly the food was excellent. They have different varieties of freshly baked bread pita, samoon, and tandoori with white and wheat options. They also have a small yet delicious assortment of desserts like kunafeh, basbosah, and tiramisu. The desserts are pretty light and very moderately sweetened. Oh and they make their own yogurt and gaymar our version of clotted cream that are fresh, creamy, and super yummy. The guys are from Iraqi Kurdistan and you can tell every item is made with love and care. Make sure you come in early, especially on a weekend, cause they sell out FAST.
Fresh soft Pita breads and friendly staff. The tomato manakish is our favorite though the beef and chesse Manakish is pretty good as well. We buy the samoon pita bread and manakish atleast once in 2 weeks. I would highly recommend trying their breads.
tried lahmacun chicken for the first time and I was initially skeptical but my wife and I ended up finishing it up. amazing thin crust, and cant wait to try the beef next time. also their baklava is one of the best ive had so far in Seattle.
Everything was so delicious! I was surprised that all their food are very high quality. We will be back again. Of course we are looking forward to see you at our store too Bite of New York in Mukilteo
Tried this place for the first time today. Wish I'd known it was down the street from me all this time. The salmon pirozhki was amazing and the sweets were a great dessert, not overly sweet but just right so that you can taste all the flavor.
Great place for pita and other flatbreads. I got a couple packs of pita and samoon and they were delicious and fluffy. I also got a slice of strawberry cake that was amazing too. On to of that everyone working there was very friendly and happy to answer any questions I had. I recommend Alida's to everyone. Hope you return soon!
