Great exhibits and an overall history of this fantastic park. Go outside at the back observation look out and see several different species of birds up close. The visitor centre has a small gift shop, cafeteria, washrooms and a walk through interactive tour. It's well worth visiting, for you will be sure to learn something new about the park. Ample free parking with a park pass and the entrance is wheelchair accessible.

Great views here but during the week its pretty empty. Couldn't get into the gift shop but at least we could use the washrooms and taken a tour! Lots of good info! Can't wait to go back!

The center is more interesting than I expected. There is an exhibit about the wildlife in the park, a small gallery of selected work by the Group of Seven. The cafeteria is a great place to recoup from walking/hiking. The lookout deck has a great view overlooking the park. There is also a theater but I didn't have time to watch movie there. Thanks Canada for keeping guard of Algonquin.

It was quiet (winter season). We were able to speak to the man at the desk right away. The weather had been bad and all the ski trails we knew about were closed. He was able to find us one that was open. Overall very helpful!!

Great welcome center with an educational museum display. Also has a small café and gift shop. Interesting art exhibits and displays of local wildlife.
