The Asian girl Chinese or Vietnamese at the front desk is so rude, I feel like her father owns the clinic and I was visiting her home without an invite. Please organization like this teach your staff some basic lessons how to behave first. There was another white girl beside her she was doing her job amazing, the way she taken care of her client was so nice, the other girl should learn from her atleast how to do her job professionally.nWhat a shame for other Asian communities because of people like this.
From walking in to walking out was only a total of 15 minutes, WOW! :nnI was a walk-in / no appointment, at 6 pm on a Thursday when they close at 7. That includes waiting in line, waiting on the lobby chairs, the blood draw, AND my bathroom trip for a urine sample.nnBy the way - they are called “Alberta Precision Laboratories” now or at least this location is.
Disappointed with “Save My Place” ProcedurenI had a very disappointing experience with the “Save My Place” procedure at this laboratory. After checking in and being instructed to wait in my car for a text message, we waited for over an hour with no updates. Finally, we went inside to inquire, only to discover that they were not actively monitoring the process, and our name wasn’t even visible on their screen. It was only after I asked that they acknowledged us.nnThis defeats the purpose of the system and shows a lack of proper management. The service was poorly organized and frustrating. If this procedure is offered, it should be monitored and executed properly.
Wish I can give 0 star, they had given us the timer of 30 mins to calculate the time in between tests, when we approached them after the alarm had started going off, they directed us to wait and after that they are blaming us that we were not there for the time sensitive tests. People working here are communicating in their language which the patients can hardly understand. Don’t know if Precision lab notice these things or it’s just a waste of another review!
Filipina Receptionist/Staff was so rude and unprofessional. She needs proper training on how to handle patients or client. As a healthcare advocate, she needs to know the meaning of empathy and embody it. Not all people knows their process. Some people will walk in for the first time and needs directions. Shouting and embarassing a patient is not going to solve any concerns. Please Managers, evaluate your staff and train them how to properly talk to patients. Kindness will go a long way.
